As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a "How can I help you today sir?" Which you don't hear much anymore this day and age. I explained my situation and they told me they'd be glad to quote me they just needed a little bit of my personal and automotive information. While providing them my information I was asked if I'd like some water or iced tea. I gladly accepted the offer. As they ran my information they asked all the pertinent questions about what level of policy I'd like, different coverage options, and prior experiences with other providers. Once the quote came up it turned out that they were saving me over $750 dollars a year because my prior coverage had add-ons and hidden charges that I didn't read into within the fine print of my previous online provider. 3 months later I went back when my home owners policy came up and they did it again. Once I bundled the two my rates were cheaper on both ends. I never would have remembered that my home owners policy was up but Mike gave me a call 2 weeks before to remind me. That's customer service!!!! Now every now and then I stop in to say hi and they're always excited to see me. They even bought lunch once and refused to accept any money. TOP NOTCH!!!!

Not even sure why they are needed for DMV purposes, I had a much smoother experience at the ACTUAL DMV when getting my Real ID versus this place that seems to charge a person for everything they do as far as printing your documents, there are all these fees listed in addition to what you need to pay for via your actual vehicle. I'd say use thr online services or go directly to DMV and for insurance call someone get some quotes and save yourself a lot of time over dealing with is Angency it seems to be more stress any money than if you have a dedicated appointment with DMV or a Insurance Broker who sets an appointment vs having all the customers standing around and asking who is next etc. Definitely could use some improvement.

    Literally go anywhere else - this place is terrible. Their staff's rudeness is only trumped by…read moretheir incompetence. Had so many issues so will only write a few: 1. In total it took almost 6 months to get my plate (antique plate and then a vanity antique plate). PennDOT does take a while on these but about half that waiting was because of general incompetence on the agency staff. 2. When my first plate arrived they called the wrong number to let me know it was ready (they had called me a few weeks earlier because of another screw up on their part so they had my correct number - just dialed it wrong the second time). I called them 2-weeks after my plate had been sitting there and they said it was "still processing at penndot". Reached out to my local congress person 2-weeks after that to see if they could contact PennDOT directly and they did and PennDOT said they shipped the plate out the month prior. Called the agency again and they said "yes it's here - we called you a month ago to let you know" but again they called the wrong number. So they both called the wrong number AND didn't tell me the plate was ready when I called them. Additionally every time I called and asked for an update they said "we'll call you when it's ready" and acted very annoyed. If I didn't keep calling in I'd probably still be waiting for my plate. 3. PennDOT made some mistake when processing my vanity plate and had to redo it - again had to call the agency to have them call PennDOT to see what was going on - if I hadn't I probably would never have gotten the plate. They had to resubmit the paperwork but at this point PennDOT had increased their rates so i had to pay more on top of this. 4. Generally they just don't know what they are doing, are actively working to get things done with the government agencies they work with, and overall just act annoyed when you try and get more information from them. One mistake here and there is annoying but not the end of the world - this was different - this was systemic incompetence that is not worth the headache or risk.
