Daniel Bellamy and Roger Francis were a great help when we needed a new roof. Both were understanding, communicative and easy to work with. We received the money for the roof almost immediately and were referred to a company that provided a competitive price. We've been with the Jack Sughrue team for years and always have had great service. I recommend the entire team for your insurance needs. read more

I've been really happy with Jack Sughrue and his team. When I have a question or need help, I can actualy talk to a real person who knows me and is willing to take the time to help. That's hard to find these days. I never feel like i'm just a number or getting past around from one person to another. Jack, Somer, Yaneth, Daniel, and the rest of this team really care about their customers, and that is why I am happy to recommend Jack Sughrue Insurance agency. read more

I've known Jack Sughrue and his team for years, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Jack has been an Allstate agent since 1999 and brings over 20 years of experience, including a background in claims. That experience really sets him apart--when you have a claim, he knows exactly how the process works and helps guide you through it smoothly and with as little stress as possible. What I appreciate most is how well he explains insurance. Whether it's auto, home, life, renters, condo, umbrella, business insurance, or retirement planning, Jack takes the time to explain things in plain English so you actually understand what you're buying and why it matters. I've heard him talk with customers, and he's incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. His office in Aurora has a fantastic team of 13 staff members who provide outstanding customer service. You never feel like just another policy number. Jack is also deeply committed to the community. His office is currently running a school supply drive and participates in Toys for Tots, along with many other charitable efforts over the years. The impressive part is that he doesn't do these things for recognition--he's never been one to advertise his community involvement or ask clients for reviews. He simply believes in giving back. If you're looking for an experienced, honest insurance professional who truly cares about his customers and community, Jack Sughrue and his team are an excellent choice. Would highly recommend! read more

I had a wonderful experience. My agent was able to save me a couple thousand dollars on my homeowners insurance. My agent was able to explain the coverage for me in a way that was easy for me to understand it, I am grateful for that. I have definitely made recommendations with family members to use the same company and agent. read more

I was a customer of Jack Sughrue for Home, Auto and Liability policies. Premiums totaling $10K+/yr. I had two ethical issues with him. 1.Sughrue billed me for a 33% retro-active Home policy price increase, ten months after making the annual payment. The Underwriters' science allegedly determined this price increase. Sughrue said he was powerless. I thought he was uninterested. 2. I cancelled all three policies immediately due to the above. Sughrue transferred money due me for unused Auto and Liability coverage to fund some of the price increase on the Home policy. I filed a complaint with the State of Colorado Division of Insurance. They ordered the money moved from the Auto and Liability policies to be refunded to me. Sadly, the Division of Insurance could point me to a Code of Ethics for Insurance agents. read more

I was rear ended by one of Jack's customers in May. I'm a Lyft driver. I was driving a passenger. The insurance company never got back to my attorney and to me. My car was made ineligible by Lyft, so I can only drive delivery. I've lost about $8,000 over the course of almost three months. My car is about to be repossessed. AVOID THIS SCAM!!! I already reported this agent to the insurance commissioner of Colorado. read more

The agency is the worst and customer service can not do anything. After I excluded a driver, they magically added the excluded driver back on the policy. This isn't The first time. All I get is directed to an office I don't have time for. It's easier to just start over with a new company. Allstate has progressively gotten worse with the years. read more

They were terrible! Never helped when I was t boned. When I got my renewal I scheduled a call with Jack and never got a call or email called back a few days later to follow up and scheduled another call and got blown off again. So I went ahead and and went with another insurance company and it took 3 calls and multiple emails before they acknowledge my notice of cancellation. Terrible experience and will never go back to Allstate because of them! read more

I've been with this agency for the past two years now. My renewal for my homeowner's insurance came up due on the 8th of August. I received a letter from the third-party agency that Jack Sughrue's office went through for my policy dated the 29th of July, which I didn't receive till the 5th of August. The policy required a signature for renewal, however they wanted to drop all other dwellings from my policy, including the 2nd home I have on my property. Crystal Faulk at the office offered us a different policy through another 3rd party which was almost double my previous policy and this would only cover the 2nd home and not the other out buildings on my land. Each of the policies presented required a minimum amount paid in so if I renewed to be covered but then cancelled I would still have to pay over $600 out of pocket to these companies. Crystal took no ownership and wasn't familiar with Colorado's laws which require at least a 45-day notice to lower coverage on a policy. I couldn't believe that this is how Allstate and Jack Sughrue's office would do business but here I am, without even a follow up call from Jack. Not in good hands at all. read more

The agents at this location are fantastic! They were so helpful with all the questions I had about being a new home owner and being recently married and needing insurance for the whole family. Since then they have been great about keeping me posted with any new changes to my policy. Love them and would definitely recommend! read more

I moved from Utah to Colorado, and Reid is my rep, and was fantastic at getting my policy converted, even having to get the Utah rep to get it right as they had done their part wrong. He gets my vote hands down, awesome! Steve read more

Awful experience! They overcharged me over $400 and won't provide the most simple explanation much less apologize for the confusion. I feel like I have been robbed by a third world crook. I expected more from Allstate. Never again. read more

I too had Jack sughrue for auto and home insurance. I would not recommend him to anyone. My rates were also raised about 40% when the new cycle came. i called to talk to someone about it and they said i had to talk to him, so the scheduled me in his calendar for a phone meeting the next day at noon. Next day at noon, no phone call. i called at 12:40 and had to leave a message. I called again after 3:00 and was told he would call me back. Finally he called back with no apologies which i took as rude right off the bat. He must not understand that we are his customers and can very easily get insurance from anyone else. When i asked why my car insurance went from the $70's to $100's he answered because too many people in my area had hail claims and they had to make up for it. That is so bogus. I let him know that as a customer i felt very frustrated about that because i was with Geico for 10+ years and my rate fluctuated by a mater of cents. He made a little smirk and said i know for a fact they had double didget increases so i just must not have noticed it. (i called him the day i opened my mail yet i just must not have noticed when it happened to me with geico? Please) That is when i kindly let him know he is in no position to question me and what i know my rate was for 10 years. I let him know how unprofessional of him that was to argue with his customer over something he knows nothing about. I also let him know that as his paying customer i have every right to raise a concern over my rates without being treated rudely by him. Then i enjoyed telling him how unprofessional he was about the missed appointment and not even apologizing for it. And at that point he did apologize for missing his appointment with me but stood very firm in the fact that he was not questioning me or being rude. Then i asked him to email me a declaration page so i can compare apples to apples when i was getting new quotes. Then the scare tactics come in and he said, "Well if you cancel your auto insurance then your home insurance will go up 30% because your getting a discount on bundling. How cute, he thought i was actually planning on keeping my home insurance with him after being treated like that. So naive. Needless to say i was very happy to call the next day and cancel both my policies with him after finding Safeco to insure me for so much less. Nearly the same on house and only $37 for auto for both vehicles. That's a savings of almost $60 a month just in car insurance. Someone in his field should not go on the defense and take it as a personal attack when someone has a question about their bill. Very immature and childlike in my opinion. Just to add when i got my new insurance i was told it is against the law to raise rates in a certain neighborhood over hail claims and if that was what they chose to do, they would have to raise the rates on the whole state of Colorado. They said i am sure that is not what happened, but that in their opinion he just did'n't want to be truthful about the company raising their rates so he blamed it on the hail. I don't even pay for comprehensive on the cars and you have to have comprehensive to claim hail damage so why would mine have gone up. I think they get you in with a savings and then when it's time for your next 6 months they raise it on you in hopes you wont feel like bothering with a switch. OH and just for reference, in over 5 year's and the short time i had them there were NO TICKETS NO ACCIDENTS EXCELLENT CREDIT NO REASON FOR AN ALMOST $30 RATE CHANGE read more

I made a BIG MISTAKE - I called Sughrue for a quote. I decided against switching. I verbally told them I I would not be buying insurance from them. They charged my mortgage servicer for a year of homeowner's insurance. They were paid. In addition, my real Insurance company was paid. How did they get my mortgage info - I was told to get a quote I had to prove that I had insurance the past 12 months. I faxed the declaration page from my insurance company to them. When I called Sughrue I was told the person that had handled this was no longer employed. Conveniently her last day was just the day before. I asked to speak with Sughrue, before I could explain the problem he yelled at me "you have insurance with us" and he hung up on me. BTW I have written proof that I did not agree to the policy. My mortgage servicer called them. My mortgage servicer said what they did was ILLEGAL. ILLEGAL to have 2 insurance policies. It was agreed to refund what my mortgage servicer had paid them. Weeks later I receive a Cancellation Notice with a partial refund! Finally months later I did receive the full amount. Maybe it was an honest mistake, (who knows maybe that is why the person that initiated the quote was no longer there). If I had been treated courteously and if they had admitted I never had a policy and was sent the full refund I would feel differently. But this has gone on for months with several hours on the phone. I am filing a complaint with the Insurance Commission. read more
