After bypasssing the local office and contacting the Farmers corporate 800-number, I spoke with an online agent who confirmed that vehicle ownership status did not preclude us from modifying our policy. By making these long-overdue adjustments, I saved my family $600 per year--a change that was apparently available to us all along. Due to the misinformation provided by this office, our family has incurred a cumulative loss of over $3,000 over the last five years. It is deeply disappointing to receive such blatantly incorrect guidance from a licensed professional, especially when that advice results in significant and unnecessary financial strain.
