Did not need renters insurance any longer. They sent me a renewal in Feb 2021. Emailed them that we moved and no longer needed renters insurance. They said I had to send them proof that I moved out. 5 Months later I get a letter from a collection agency for $36.06 telling me they are going to get a judgement against me. Not sure why you have to prove you moved out of somewhere, When you email them to stop service. I had been with Farmers for 10 years, However when we bought our new house State Farm was $1000.00 a year less. I hate that this is how they do business as I would have used them in the future.
