After a two month (plus) fiasco…read morewith a roofer who had been highly recommended, but who had a serial habit of not showing up, returning calls/texts/emails, and pushing the start date back weekly, we were extremely frustrated to say the least. We had already had one snow storm and more loomed on the horizon. The owner of the company painting our home and doing other exterior restoration (Kasie with North Fork Restoration and Paint) recommended Diamond Roofing. Whether kismet or fortuitous coincidence, Tony and his crew happened to be working on our neighbor's roof right then! We rushed across the street to explain our situation and beg for help. Tony met the other (absentee) roofer's estimate and had the work done the next week. Our roof looks awesome! Tony was our Johnny-on-the-spot! Tony and his crew at Diamond Roofing were fast, professional, efficient, and cleaned up the area around the house so that you did not even know roofers had been there. I HIGHLY recommend Diamond Roofing!

It took several days to get the parts and for the technician to return to complete the fix (we are in Spearfish). The following is a rough sequence of events and the terrible customer service we received. 8/27 We were supposed to get a call at 8am to tell us when the repair guy was supposed to come out. It was 9:15 with no notification so we called them. They answered and told us the estimated time was 2-4pm (not a big deal, we had plans later in the afternoon). 4 o'clock rolls around and he still hasn't shown up nor have we recieved a call stating he would be late. So we called them again at 4:05 to check and he says he's running about 30 minutes late. (A little irritated, but not to big a deal). He finally shows up and he takes a look at the washer saying that the fabric softener clogged the drain tube (first time I've ever heard of that but, ok) and that it is a motherboard issue. He tells us it is fixed and should work temporarily until we decide to order the part. They charge us $85 for 10-15min of work. We test the machine and it still doesn't work. We call them back and they schedule a secondary appointment for August 31st. 8/31 They call us about 9am to say that there is nothing they can do but order the part. At this point we are like okay just order the part. We asked if we could be refunded the $85 because he came and did nothing to our machine and it still had the same problem as before we called. They gave us some bullshit about how the experience was not how we made it seem, that the $90 was for a insurance charge if we got the part installed and broke within a 90 day period. We decided to not order the part and still wanted our money back (Would have accepted a little less due to gas usage and time) all they did was yell back at us and said that there was nothing they could do. 100% NEVER using this place again with their bullshit customer service.

I have previously done business with Superior and was satisfied with their work so I signed up for…read moretheir gutter cleaning service. Unfortunately this was not a positive experience and ended with a somewhat threatening call from the owner. Two guys showed up to clean the gutters and were here for less than 15 minutes. After they left I quickly inspected a section of the gutters and found that the downspouts were not cleaned at all and there was still dirt and leaves in the gutter. I took some photos and contacted Superior to dispute the invoice as the work was not completed correctly. The person I spoke with saw my pictures, agreed the work was substandard and offered to send their employees back out. I didn't want them back on my roof, potentially upset about being called out for sub par work so I refused and said I didn't want to pay the invoice. The office employee said they would have someone call me to discuss further. After three weeks with no response I called again and was told I would receive a call. Two weeks later the owner called me saying he has pictures showing the work was completed correctly and that they do not clean downspouts. He said he wasn't going to discuss the issue any further and if I refused to pay the invoice he would send it to collections. With no recourse outside of litigation, which would be costly and unjustified over a $100 invoice, I reluctantly paid it. I have video footage from my security cameras to prove my claims as well as a couple of pictures following the job. I want others to be aware of my terrible experience and to be careful if you choose to do business with this company. After speaking with others who have done business with this company and reading other's reviews, intimidation seems to be a common tactic along with substandard work. I will no longer be doing business with Superior and caution others to do so at your own risk.
