Can't say enough about my experience with Alloy, especially a couple of guys here, specifically Jeff (Geoff?). I bought a used drumkit as a gift for someone else a couple days back and I got far more customer service than I would have expected. I don't know a whole lot about drums, but they were so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Jeff painstakingly helped me place everything in my tiny BMW, and they threw in a whole bunch of helpful things and parts. To put the cherry on top, not an hour ago, Jeff came by my place to give me a couple washers that were missing from the kit (had likely fallen off when loading). Well hell ya, I would never have noticed that anyway, so that was incredible. Friendly, smart, and would choose them again, have lots of cool music gear!! Go Alloy Music! read more

I have nothing to say but good things about Alloy Music. They have been good to me. I've been able to find guitar and amp parts that were not available at any other local store, even selling me the only one they had in stock, which was on hand for repairs. Mom and Pop music stores are the ones I'd rather buy from. No corporate attitude, just real people going above the call of duty to make sure a customer leaves happy. The review left by BD should be ignored, as his rude attitude tells me what kind of impatient jerk he is. I got news for ya buddy, you can expect loud guitar noise in every music store, big or small. Did you expect the store to be silent while you put your grimy hands on every guitar on the rack. They are there to serve everyone, not just cater to you. Next time leave a fair review, not just an attitude. Alloy Music is a good store with good people who will cater to your needs. This is the worst music store I've ever went to to purchase a guitar!!! I was in the market for a decent acoustic guitar so I thought I'd check to see what they had for sale. Firstly, there wasn't anything there of any quality, it was all cheap, beginner instruments, but, sometimes you get lucky and find a decent, cheap guitar that sounds good and play well, so I started to try a few, with no luck I must add, but I was quickly drowned out by an employee that came from the back with a Les Paul studio and plugged into an app they had just worked on to test it out I guess? However, it was extreme unprofessional as it totally made it impossible for me to continue to try out the rest of the guitars on the wall, so I just hung the one up I was playing and walked out! I'll NEVER go back there, and since then, I've spent over $7000 on guitars and amps, and the terribly rude owner, Tim, didn't see a dime of it, and NEVER will! I also have an amp that needs some work, but I don't trust that I will receive professional service from him now, so I will be taking it elsewhere, I'm appalled by the rudeness he protrays! read more
