Possibly the spiffiest post office I have come across on my travels this one ticks all the boxes and some. Stamps and brown paper packaging aside the shelves are stocked with all manner of edible delights many locally sourced. Nice selection of greeting cards too and an interesting selection of whiskies. This is a lovely little post office near to Burn's cottage. It is also a shop as well as the post office part and sells a good range of products including local gifts if you're visiting and want to take something home. They also have a good range of postcards and everything is reasonably priced. The staff are friendly polite and helpful. There is free street parking for up to 30mins but if you needed to be in the area for longer there is a free car park next to the Robert Burns cottage. read more
