I've met other psychiatrists who are "just weird" and Dr Caudill is just a normal doctor with an intelligence that shocks me! I don't know how he can remember all the stuff he does! I really like that he includes me in making the decision, as I feel more in control of my life and dealing with mental illnesses, we don't always feel that we are in control of anything. The pandemic was tough but the quarantine was a back breaker and to go through it in near complete…read moreisolation was devastating. I sought professional support from Nzinga Cates to help me through some family issues made worse by the quarantine. Due to my depression (which she was supposed to have been helping me with) I had to cancel a few sessions. I would ALWAYS let Cates know that I had to cancel by using her scheduling system prior to the appointment. To my surprise, the last time I had to cancel, I immediately I started getting all of these texts and emails alerting me that all of my future appointments had been canceled. I also immediately received an email letting me know she was dumping me as a patient due to my failure to keep appointments. It was like it was all drafted up and she just inserted my name and hit send. This is a cold, uncaring counselor. If you are in a depression that makes it hard for you to get out of bed and you have to reschedule appointments, then go to a different counselor. The irony is incredible: the condition she's supposed to have been helping me with - and not doing a great job I might add - is the reason it's very difficult for me to get to her appointments so that she could treat me. The answer would have been patience for someone in a lot of pain.

She is a true holistic practitioner-- mind, body, spirit. This is an experience unlike any other... She uses kinesiology to test the body for weaknesses. She then prescribes any array of herbal supplements, and other unconventional treatments. Sometimes it feels a little voo-doo-ish, but conventional doctors are just "practicing" medicine and dispensing potent drugs with known side effects... both seem scary to me, but the natural approach seems less so. And, honestly, I showed up barely able to function from tiredness and fatigue, beaten up from medical procedures and under the care of an oncologist (for a noncancerous condition). She really restored my energy. I credit Dr. Eap for restoring my health back to a place of wellness. --It is expensive and not covered by insurance-- --I eventually had to stop going, the supplements were getting to be too many for me to keep up with-- --I will definitely go again, when my pocketbook and time can manage it--
