I visited this location as part of a large group that had an organized dinner, so this review is…read moresomewhat impacted by that. First of all, this location is absolutely amazing. Somewhat far from the center (at least on foot), this restaurant is an institution in Bern, and for a good reason. The internal decoration is absolutely gorgeous - especially if you are sitting on the top floor, with the fire pit open and burning. For us it was - moreover, the meat for the main dish was cooked right there, in front of it. Even putting it aside, the appetizer, desert and wine selection were extremely good; and all - including the main dish - came with a vegetarian option. The service was fast and courteous - basically the best that can be expected at this level in my experience. Overall, great location, great service, and great food.
