I went through fertility issues that I know Dr Furr tried to help with. Getting through to a person and getting scheduled is harder and harder. I got a call letting me know I had to reschedule my appointment until I filled out all of the patient forms on their website. I went to the website and thought I had filled the paperwork out. However, it was not very intuitive and so I ended up only filling out one of the required forms. I was called by the nicest girl to help me through where to go to fill out the rest of the forms. There were a ton of forms with a lot of very thorough questions too a good amount of my time to fill out (approx 30-45 minutes). I think at least five forms in total if I remember correctly. It took me several attempts and a long time to get these forms in to the office. I ended up having to print out and fax some as their website wasn't working correctly. When I got there early I waited an hour and a half to even talk to Dr Jerath. Once I was in her office, she started asking me the very same questions that I filled out on her website. She took 30 minutes more to ask me answers to the questions I had already answered so I started to really get annoyed. Then, and only then did I get the exam. Let me tell you, I have been examined by many doctors but no one, even the men hurt me until Dr Jerath. She actually hurt me during the exam. She was rough, and had to apologize for it. Then, she wanted me to stay for blood tests. My appointment was at 2:00 it was 4:30 and I said ... I have to go back to work. She then said "We do ask that you give us 2 hours for your first appointment it is clearly in our paperwork." I couldn't believe it.... I then told her, I've been here 2 and a half hours. You have had your two hours.... and then some. I was peeved. Not only was she running an hour and a half behind, but she wasn't prepared when we met. She hadn't looked at the paperwork I was required to fill out to be seen and just repeated the questions. I would never suggest anyone go to this office because the doctor here is clearly thinking she is doing you a favor by taking up your time at her leisure and you get a rough exam to boot

Our first visit should have been a happy visit but it was anything but. Our ultrasound was so exciting but Dr Jerath and the sonographer never said anything kind or gave a one-worded "congratulations". When we stopped at the front desk to schedule our next appointment they didn't have a schedule available and were told someone would call to schedule. We waited weeks and never heard anything. I called and was told someone would call back to schedule. No one ever called. In addition Dr Jerath wrote a referral for me to see a specialist. I called to check on the referral ( I need preauthorization from my insurance) and was told they were working on it. It took over two weeks for them to send in my referral to my insurance. Because of this I wasn't even able to schedule for 3 weeks and the specialist had a very full schedule. This is completely unacceptable when both baby and I were at risk and needed to be seen by the specialist. I let the office know I was switching providers and they asked why, I listed off everything and they didn't seem to care about their lack of care. There are so many OBs and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through my experience here.

For me, receiving the best medical care was most important during my pregnancy. Dr. Tyler took the time to answer all of my questions, research any conditions that developed, followed up promptly and monitored my care closely to ensure I did not develop complications during child birth as I had with my first child many years before with another doctor.
