I had a kidney stone present itself on a Sunday night, and like the tuff guy that I am, I waited for a week to see if it would pass. Im telling you, go see Dr. Glass the first day. The pain you have is unbearable and you cant get anything done anyway. I saw Dr. Glass on a Friday, and the following Monday morning I had surgery scheduled. Now Im not a seasoned vetern to surgery, (my first) but this was a seamless experience. Went into Lincoln Surgery Center at noon, had a few wonderful meds to calm myself, and left a few hours later with no more kidney stone. It really was a professional enviroment and everything, including the folowup care went without a hitch. Literally everything they said I would feel and experience was to the T. Scheduling could have been clearer, and the staff was short and rude as if they didn't care about working there. But beyond that, I WAS LIED TO above the pain of the procedure, and especially the BILLING. Before the procedure, I asked billing to contact United Healthcare to confirm that the procedure was covered and what my responsibility would be. I received an email confirmation that my part would be a $15 copay . . . in writing . . . in an email. With that information, I decided to have the procedure done. Two months later, I received a bill for $785! I tried to appeal the charge, but couldn't get a call back. I then received two additional statements for $785. THEY ARE LIARS AND DECEIVERS. I got a referral from my chiropractor Dr Rick Odekirk next day somewhere else and was able to move the initial appointment here up to same week. I've met with Dr Buchannan twice now and have been doing PT for now. We'll see how this goes.

Turns out all bones in your spine are critical if you don't want to accidentally dislocate your spine. Do not trust these docs. They were more concerned with covering for the doctor that gave me staff infection than treating my condition. Terrible with pain management too.
