I made it clear i do not want any type of device that monitors my driving and i do not want an app. I got a quote and signed up. A couple weeks later I get my the device and I'm told "whoops, your quote is with the device". Fine, whatever. Then over the next 3 months, I get emails about my billing changing, my drive safe not working, me needing to take additional steps on the app. All things i asked explicitly not to do. Then I started getting two separate charges instead of one. I was told that State Farm is figuring out its billing. Then today, I am charged extra $25 because of a renewal. Nothing in the app, which i was required to get, explains the increase. At least that I can see. I don't know if it's statefarm that can't figure this out or if it's this office, either way, this experience is terrible. I'd rather pay more at a professional, honest agency. Now I have to go through the hassle of cancelling. I am so tired of talking to Josh every 2-3 weeks because of another issue and being told "well corporate".

This will end up being a lawsuit but I want to warn the public in the meantime. I owned a home that I rented to my ex husband. They allowed him to add himself to my policy. My contracts require me to carry the same commercial insurance as the larger companies in order to maintain compliance. I was afraid after this last increase in amounts from my contracts that I would not be able to afford to carry what was required to maintain my contract compliance. Jarrod with Turner Insurance Solutions was very helpful and understood my struggle as a small company. Jarrod knew how important it was for me to be able to keep my contracts without a major increase in cost. Not only was he able to get back to me in time to update my contracts to stay in compliance, but he also managed to keep me around the same rate I was currently at. As matter of fact, I think my rate only increased by $10 for double the amount of insurance I was currently carrying. The best part is not the savings though! You aren't just a company, to Jarrod, your a person with a need and he goes above and beyond to try to take care of you. Thank you, Jarrod and Turner Insurance Solutions LLC from my family to yours.

I have used Cody for a while. For a couple of years, I had a great rate. My rate began to increase…read moreso I began to look for new coverage. I reached out to Cody to see if I had the best rate. He said he would look into it. Never heard back. Since I did not I decided to look for coverage else where. I sent them my policies to review and told them I needed the same coverage I have now, including the flood policy. This is how I discovered I did not have a flood policy. When I moved into my new home in Houston in December 2024 (right on the bayou), I made it abundantly clear to Cody and their office manager, Kendra Alnes, that I needed flood insurance. I was told confidently in writing via email that my renter's policy included flood coverage in the event of a hurricane. Based on that assurance, I didn't seek additional coverage. Fast forward seven months, we're now deep into hurricane season, and I've just learned that this critical coverage does not exist. I had someone who wrote policies for State Farm for 15 years review and she told me no flood coverage exists. I reached out to Kendra and Cody to clarify and this was true. Worse yet, I'm now told that renters can't even get flood coverage through FEMA, something I could've researched and addressed back in December had I been given the right information. I would have worked on this with my landlord to make sure things were set for this hurricane season. Insurance is about trust. When that trust is broken, especially with something as high-stakes as natural disaster coverage in Houston during hurricane season, it's not just frustrating, it's dangerous. Be careful. Double-check everything. And if flood insurance is something you need, I'd recommend working with an agent who actually understands what their products do and don't cover.
