Meaning he wanted to prioritize other jobs and would rather piss me off, than to piss them off. Fine. I wanted to part ways amicably, but then he told me how much he was going to refund my deposit for. The deposit was $26k. He said he made a path to the site on property, and made the sand mound. He claimed it was fully approved by the SEO and thus his work was worth $17k. I found a new septic installer, got a quote, then told them the sand mound was completely done. They started work, and refunded me $4k, stating the SEO was not happy, and they had to get more loads of sand delivered. All I know for sure is that Josh 1. Delayed my project with excuse after excuse. 2. Bailed on it eventually, stating he had too much work on his docket. (showing his excuses were garbage to begin with, he simply took on too much work) 3. Lied about the state of the work he had done. 4. Did not refund me an adequate amount. Even assuming the new septic installer over-charged me, more than 4X the price of the work? unlikely. When I asked for an accounting of the $17k work, he refused to send it. When I asked him why the new installer claimed it was only $4k of work, he said they were lying. When I told him the SEO said the sand mound was not correct as he had claimed, he ghosted me. It seems to me he took on too much work, then instead of making things right, lied about the state of work, and under-refunded me.

I hired Moyers to come out and evaluate an old well, hoping that I could use it for my new…read moreconstruction. I was worried that if the old well didn't pan out that I'd be out over $2k for the eval and then pay an extra $7k on top of that to drill a new well. Scott came out for the initial consultation and said not to worry, that if the existing well doesn't work he'll deduct the cost of the the eval from the cost of the new well drilling. I thought, this was great! Even though I had other companies able to do the eval for a fraction of the cost I went with Moyer for this very reason. I asked to get that in writing on the initial quote, but they ignored my requests. I thought surely they would stand by their word. Long story short - it was not feasible to use the old well, they did NOT stand by their word, and they wouldn't reduce the cost of the $7k+ well drilling. So I'm out over $2k for an hours worth of work for them and now have to drill a brand new well anyways. While Dianna in the office was lovely to work with, do yourself a favor and don't trust this company!
