I don't know how many others went through what I went through but it's pretty bad when you call and talk to a Realtor and set up an appointment and got no return phone calls, Cancellation and another NO SHOW! Allied realtors in the Skowhegan Office are derelict in their duties. They don't know or do not disclose legalese in their documents. They leave folks homeless and then they spend the rest of their time lying to cover up their failures. I have the receipts (proof) that they are more concerned with commissions, that they don't support their clients and that they have zero concern for leaving folks homeless. This is coming from someone who used them (and considered the realtor a friend) for years. If that is how they treat return (disabled veteran) clients and "friends", I would hate to see how they treat new clients, out of state clients and section 8 folks. read more

Chelsea stayed in touch throughout the buying process and made sure things were kept moving along as they should be. She was always courteous and professional while dealing with inspectors, etc. and she made the home buying process manageable. Unethical, dishonest and will take advantage of you if you give them a chance. The wrong way to do business in a small town. This review is specifically for Susi Pearson who was the representative selling the house we bought. As first time homebuyers, we were most definitely taken advantage of, but that isn't uncommon. However, she took it multiple steps further to make the process and subsequent months more difficult and more of a financial burden than necessary. She was also the property manager of the house before it was sold flat-out ignored regulations to keep the property safe. After we moved in, we faced an additional $2k of repairs for heating equipment because she and the owner just decided it wasn't worth it to follow the law. The tenants before also did significant damage to the house, but no compensation was provided from the security deposit. The hardwood floors were scratched, snow removal was terribly managed and there was pet damage from these tenants leaving their dog out all winter on a rope all along the driveway. Finally, after taking advantage of us and getting every last penny, this woman literally came onto our property multiple times without our permission (or even letting us know) to snoop around looking for her real estate sign, which we had thrown away after moving in. Dear realtors, since your job is literally becoming irrelevant due to Zillow and Trulia, I would figure out how to at least provide a decent customer experience. Stay away from Allied Real Estate and this realtor in particular. read more

The dealings I've had with my agent and this agency are bad. While they the sold a piece of property for me they had a listing for my house and business and not 1 person looked at my business in 4 months and she brought 4 people to see my home. I was leaving for a vacation and she called saying she had a good prospect to buy my home 2 hours before I left. Then while I'm in Florida I get a call from my wife telling me she has an offer and they need an answer right away. So I call her get a low ball offer which I rejected, so I spent the rest of my vacation negotiating a deal instead of enjoying myself. I told her I'd have an answer for her Monday but that wasn't good enough. So we reach a deal on the house but they want me out April 12 but I told her I'd be in Florida closing on a house and we would do it the last day of april. So I come back home Monday expecting to close the deal only to have her say they said forget it. She could have told me earlier but decided to tell me when I got home real nice. Then I tell her that I wanna get out of contract that I was sick of the agency. Heather told me I'll be by Tuesday with the release. We'll she didn't show so I called her today wed. And she wanted me to come down there to do it. She ruins my vacation doesn't sell the houses and then expects me to go out of my way to end this .
