BUYER BEWARE!!! This company signed a contract to clean, pressure wash, prime and apply two coats of paint to my house in addition to repairing my deck. They took all of my money and slapped one coat of paint on my house without doing anything else, now the paint is literally falling off since they didn't clean it or prime before painting! They also ruined my deck railing and made it completely unsafe!! Now I have to take them to court and have filed a complaint with the BBB. All I have asked them to do is do what was listed in the contract and live up to what they agreed to do. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

If anyone ever needs work done to your home or office, this has got to be the best company! Oh and Vern is the best!

I have previously done business with Superior and was satisfied with their work so I signed up for…read moretheir gutter cleaning service. Unfortunately this was not a positive experience and ended with a somewhat threatening call from the owner. Two guys showed up to clean the gutters and were here for less than 15 minutes. After they left I quickly inspected a section of the gutters and found that the downspouts were not cleaned at all and there was still dirt and leaves in the gutter. I took some photos and contacted Superior to dispute the invoice as the work was not completed correctly. The person I spoke with saw my pictures, agreed the work was substandard and offered to send their employees back out. I didn't want them back on my roof, potentially upset about being called out for sub par work so I refused and said I didn't want to pay the invoice. The office employee said they would have someone call me to discuss further. After three weeks with no response I called again and was told I would receive a call. Two weeks later the owner called me saying he has pictures showing the work was completed correctly and that they do not clean downspouts. He said he wasn't going to discuss the issue any further and if I refused to pay the invoice he would send it to collections. With no recourse outside of litigation, which would be costly and unjustified over a $100 invoice, I reluctantly paid it. I have video footage from my security cameras to prove my claims as well as a couple of pictures following the job. I want others to be aware of my terrible experience and to be careful if you choose to do business with this company. After speaking with others who have done business with this company and reading other's reviews, intimidation seems to be a common tactic along with substandard work. I will no longer be doing business with Superior and caution others to do so at your own risk.

His workers installed shingles on house but not my shed, which was part of the job. He returned to job sight and absconded with the remainder of shingles, the use of which were intended to complete the project. I've called him 23 times and recieved no answer and no return of my call. These attempts are noted on my cell phone. I did manage to reach him when I used an unidentifiable line to make contact. He told me he was waiting on parts on the two occasions I managed to speak with him. He additionally made attempts to bully me. The contract was accepted on on June 9 2021. Today the date is October 2 2022. My new contractor called him five minutes after I made my last failed attempt, Storhaug answered on the third ring, so he's screening calls. No effort has been made by Storhaug to return any of the money he received for the contract he defaulted on. I've gone to the Lawrence County Sheriffs Police and filed a criminal complaint against Storhaug, it's currently being reviewed by the Lawrence County States Attorney, John Fitzgerald. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR THEFT OF PROPERTY AND FRAUD.

July 6, 2022 we signed a $28,000 contract for the roof work plus giving Mr. Storhaug $10,000 down payment. When the job was finished (July 15, 2022) Mr. Storhaug showed up demanding full payment ($18,300) as he was leaving for his Arizona vacation. When I hesitated, he commented, "Don't have the money?" and I replied, "I don't have a bill." He then showed me the bill and he was paid in full. Shortly after, we received certified notice that a $11,801.12 lien was placed on our home by Builders First Source for unpaid roofing materials. We paid Jeff Storhaug for those materials, but he had not paid Builders First Source. We also made numerous unsuccessful attempts contacting Mr. Storhaug. At end of October we received a phone message from Kate Storhaug (the Mrs.) that there was a misunderstanding by Builders First Source and the bill would be paid. Obviously untrue as we received an early morning phone call from Goldman/Walker (Nov.30), a collection agency hired by Builders First Source. They demanded the full $11,801.12, but we settled on $10,000 which since has been paid. So, our $28,000 roof cost us $38,300 with Mr. Jeffrey Storhaug of Twin City Construction, LLC making nearly $12,000 without lifting a finger. We are not the only ones he's done this to. Andrew H. of Spearfish paid far more and left in a similar situation. Mr. Storhaug also had a previous business titled I Am The Guy Construction, LLC. You can read those horrible reviews of Mr. Jeffrey Storhaug. Please remember, Mr. Jeff Storhaug can change a business name, but he can't change his own name to escape his horrible reputation. Happy holidays to the Storhaugs. You can bet they'll have an enriched time! I forgot to mention my age. I'm 71 years old and Andrew H. is a proud veteran. We've spoken a few times. His situation was made far worse by Mr. Storhaug.

When they were done, the gutters on one house did not drain properly and it took multiple discussions and re-hangings to get the gutters to an acceptable state. The roof on the other house appeared to be fine until over three years later, when a leak occurred in the kitchen ceiling around one of four skylights. Upon closer inspection by roofing professionals, there were signs of significant leaking around three of the skylights that had caused water damage to the underlayment. The roofing company that performed the repairs found that TUF Storm Restoration had improperly installed the flashing around the three skylights. These professionals noted that installing flashing correctly is not rocket science but simply involves following well-known and established procedures. As a precaution, we later decided to have the fourth skylight reflashed, which was a wise decision as the flashing around the fourth skylight had also started leaking. In 2020 we paid TUF Storm Restoration the full amount sent to us by our insurance company. But TUF refused to give us any compensation for the several thousand dollars we had to shell out in 2024 to repair their shoddy workmanship., in spite of contacting TUF while repairs were still in progress. TUF rebuffed our several requests to meet in person to discuss the situation and absolutely refused to discuss any type of compensation for the damages to the roof itself or the ceiling inside the house.
