I got a text from Glen and in our conversation he set a 9 AM appointment. That was it, he didn't show up, didn't answer phone or text. I contacted home serve at least 7 times and on one occasioned (About 2:30 PM) they called him and said they spoke to him and he would call me directly to update me on when he would arrive. He did not call. At 3:30 PM I made my last call of the day to Home serve and canceled the appointment with Foltz and sons and I canceled the cooling contract I had with home serve. I got zero for my money. To this day I think I got very lucky that he did not show up especially after reading the reviews. Yesterday my furnace refused to start so again I called Home serve (I have a heating contract with them) and they set me up with Foltz and sons. I called immediately and told them about the last time and I told them they cannot send him to my house. He is not reliable and I made sure she made a note on my account. They sent my request to Action Mechanical who set my appointment for 2:30 and at 2:15 my technician was here and the problem was solved and with that fix the AC now works too. Again I got lucky the day Foltz and sons did not show up. Just save yourself a shitty day and don't call the man and always refuse Foltz and sons if you use a service like home serve, you can request another company.

The caulking needed to be pulled and redone, sections of paint were missing (under bathroom sink, bottom of posts), red paint was splattered on a tan wall, ceilings that were supposed to have been cleaned were not, the cheapest possible materials were used, nails extended into the opposite room going through tongue and groove wood walls... no attention to detail. We had a final walk through and I pointed out these things and was told they would be taken care of and an hour later, he yelled into my office that he was done and leaving - none of these things were fixed. Due to a lack of confidence I requested invoices to be assured that the materials cost was what was being charged and found many tools and excess paint. The estimate I received to fix errors and items not done was two days. With that, the additional costs I found on the invoices, my time to go through to detail everything and the inconvenience of having another contractor come in for two days came out to 2000.00 that I was going to short pay the bill. On a 24K job, that seems fair to me but Cade threatened to put a lien on my house which of course I don't want. He's getting the amount paid in full even though I have to pay someone else to fix his mistakes. I would certainly not recommend this 'general contractor'.

I left a message with these guys and Ashley called me the next day. She said it was out of their territory but had a job coming up later in the summer in that area and they could get it done for me. This conversation was in June. She called me in late July and said they would get it done a couple weeks after the rally when they finished in Hot Springs. That job fell through. She knew a guy that might be able to to the job and would have him get in touch with me. Ashley told me if he didn't call within a couple weeks to call her and they would come down and take care of my tree for me. That is what kind of company that will take care of you, its a two hour drive one way for them. The guy they recommended call me within days and my tree and other slash removed within two weeks.
