Long story short: do not go here and do not recommend. I had my vehicle painted here in 2021 (which was a miserable experience itself -- namely dealing with Ian who made this the most frustrating and unprofessional business transaction I'd ever been involved in). By early 2023 the paint was fading on the hood and roof of my vehicle. And at this point (late 2024/early 2025) the hood and roof look WORSE than before they were painted. I stopped by Allied recently to speak with Ian (owner) about repainting roof, hood, and tops of doors. He looked at the vehicle, went to his office, and brought out an estimate for $1100 (original paint job was $1600). I asked, What's the point of a 6-year warranty if you're going to make me pay full price to repaint work that wasn't done properly to start? He blamed the sun, he blamed the big paint factories, wouldn't let me speak or ask questions. And then he ripped up the estimate and said "I'm the bad business guy" and "I don't need this." read more

I usually don't post negative reviews as you can see from the link below of many of my previous posts, however I felt it was my moral obligation to let anyone who is considering bringing their vehicle to this auto body shop, to steer clear. This was by far THE worst experience I've ever had and the most unprofessional. I recently brought my vehicle into Allied Auto Body to have a roof leak fixed. Ian, the shop's owner agreed it would cost me $750 to fix the leak. I was told I would have the car back in a couple of days, however in fixing the leak, he broke my windshield and refused to pay for it. He advised me to file a bogus insurance claim so he wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. It took approximately seven days to order a new windshield, all the while I was renting a vehicle at $70/day. While waiting for the windshield to arrive, my car sat idle, and I thought it would be a good idea to have my hood and bumper painted. I suggested this to Ian, and he said he refused to do any work on the vehicle until after the windshield was installed with no justified reason. We agreed it would cost me $1,000 to paint the hood and bumper. He ended up doing the most horrific paint job I've ever seen. I feel I was robbed of my hard-earned money after picking up my car and waiting more than two weeks. Ian tried to justify the cost I paid for the lousy paint job and mentioned that it should have cost more to fix the roof leak. I would have paid more if he had only communicated that to me, however we agreed up front on the cost and I paid him in cash for the roof leak and paintwork, a total of $1,750. It also cost me approximately $1,250 to rent a vehicle for 2.5 weeks, so the total cost to fix the roof leak basically ran me $3,000!!! I told Ian I was not satisfied with the work that was performed on the hood and bumper and suggested he correct it; however, he became hostile and refused to fix the mistake. I've never dealt with anyone so rude and disrespectful. It was very disturbing to say the least. I told him I would file a complaint with the better business bureau and would also be posting a negative review. He acted like he couldn't care less because this is how he conducts business with no professionalism or accountability and poor workmanship. I took my car elsewhere to have the hood and bumper repainted the correct way and it cost me another $2,000. I had that shop contact Ian and explained to him how bad the paint job looked, essentially that he painted over dirt because he didn't remove the hood and hang it in the spray booth. You could clearly see all the dirt particles under the paint that could not be buffed out as he suggested because it was under the clear coat. I asked him to refund the $1,000 cash I paid him, and he refused. There are many reputable body shops that do great work and have great customer service, unfortunately this is not one of them. I saw how this guy talked to the other shop owner on the phone, he wouldn't let him get a word in, so I realize it wasn't an isolated incident. I even brought another professional to the shop who also pointed out the terrible paint work and called him the next day to discuss it. Ian was arrogant and refused to listen and again tried to justify the work performed with the cost of the roof leak. Stay away from this business, they will steal your hard-earned money, give you a difficult time in the process AND there is no telling when you will get your car back. They are crooks, plain and simple and will play you for a fool because they know they can get away with it. I hope I have saved someone the time and trouble of bringing their vehicle to this shop, after all who brings their vehicle anywhere without first reading the reviews?! Unfortunately, I made that mistake because I was in a hurry and looking to save some money. One of the worst experience dealing with the body shop. This place was recommended to me after the accident, so i decided to use them to fix my rear bumper. It took them 3 attemps to fix it, yet it still doesn look like it supposed to. The owner by the name Ian promised to reimburse me 200 dollars for my time and pay for the loaner. He lied!! I can not recommend Allied Auto Body enough. Ian, the owner did such a great job painting my 1995 Honda Accord. It came out way nicer then the original factory paint. I backed into a fire hydrant with my front right tire taking too wide of a turn, (good times) and expected this mistake to be extremely costly. (For the record I blame my three little boys in the backseat having a yogurt-punching argument) It smashed my wheel-well into my passenger door hinge so my front passenger door wouldn't open. I am very cost sensitive so I lined up three estimates. My go-to mechanic shop is Boca Auto and they recommended John or Een (Ian?) at Allied Autobody. I headed there first-- Driving up I get the feeling that I am not the first person to hear of this place- it is packed with cars. (And I kind of groaned because I didn't want to have to wait long). Anyway, the second I pull in, John stops what he is doing to come greet me. He looked at my car and walked away (I assumed to go get a pen to take notes for writing up an estimate for $800+) and comes back with a small tool. For two minutes he works masterfully prying open my door, pops the panel into place, and asked nicely "Is that all you needed?" Insert-jaw-on-the-floor-emoticon. I will be back. (With my luck, I will be needing Auto body services in the future). I am so impressed he didn't try to price gauge me because I am a girl (believe me, it's happened) and didn't charge me for his brilliance. My husband and I are semi-handy but would not have expected this to be a simple fix. In fact we were already rearranging our budget to try and afford my blunder on between this week's and the next week's paycheck. All I wanted was a black pearl paint job and some dent out of my small Car Got the car back with black paint not what I wanted they painted right over the dents and the old paint for all I know they left orange peal all over my car. They washed my car so I couldn't see all imperfections when I picked it up.Still I asked about the dents. On further review I saw paint drips in many places and my trunk was so bad I couldn't believe it. So I went back and Ian said come back when we are slow and we will fix it. Mind you I have a 3 year warranty and he doesn't want to fix it. I have to pay a real company that knows how to listen and paint a car. I warn everybody to check you car closely. I went here to get my tire rim removed that was hanging by a thread onto my car. When I first arrived the owner was friendly and told someone to take the part off my car which took all of 3 minutes. Point is the OWNER told me that the removal was free and that I could come back to get it repaired which was completely fine . As I was leaving I overheard the worker say to the owner "if you want to make money you need to make her pay something now" and then was approached by a WORKER who told me that it was actually going to be 20$. I then went to talk to both the owner and worker and the owner sat there quiet as I was being given false information as to why I needed to fix my car now when the OWNER literally said "I could drive its nothing important and that I could come back". They were obviously trying to get me to buy the piece now and scam me of my money. The WORKER proceeded to call me a "fucking millennial" and say that "I don't know shit". Point is if you are under the age of 60 and a girl don't go to this place because you will get disrespected and taken advantage of. read more

After having many bad experiences at auto shops in the area recently I'm so thankful I came across an honest place that does great work. I got my car hit in the publix parking lot last week and the lady drove off, thankfully someone got her license so the insurance company covered the damage. I chose to bring my car here and my car looks better than ever and took fewer days than they estimated it would. Absolutely the worst experience I had in getting a simple estimate. I just left this place after talking with the person who called himself the Owner/Manager. What a classless individual. I was looking to get a third estimate on a simple repair job that involved two external door panels and a repair the the inside door panel. The guy I dealt with was a real jerk to me when I questioned him on his pricing. Wow I was taken by surprise ! I ask the same questions to the other body shops with no hassles. He told me" if I don't like his price then let your insurance company handle your repair and questioning for you". He told me "his time that he spent with me was being wasted by my questions "(a whole 2 minutes). I felt terribly uncomfortable with his customer service. I could only imagine how I would of felt if I was unhappy with his work performance ! This shop is not friendly nor understanding with your repair issues. I have taken my business to a body shop in Delray where I felt much more received. DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME ON SOMETHING A SIMPLE AS AN ESTIMATE!
