Andy Inhelder was the loan officer and Mandy Straw was the processor. Be very careful when you work with Andy Inhelder and Mandy Straw, double check literally every document they send you to sign. Confirm every word Andy Inhelder and Mandy Straw are telling you. Push and follow every deadline. We almost bought a $500K single family residence sold by Aslan Home Lending Corporation which is in fact a $200K detached prefab condo without land within PUD. We were lucky to exit the deal 2 days before the closing after extensive talks with the County, attorneys, lender, title, appraisal and seller. Because of the hard arguing with the seller and lender - they agreed to terminate the deal and return our earnest money. And Tom was Andy Inhelder and Mandy Straw with such a situation, no issues or sorry from their end. Just like a normal routine from them. Also Mandy Straw has ordered and we as buyers have paid $850 for the fake appraisal report which was made for non-existing property. Don't believe that such magic can happen? Just check yourself The Village at Spruce Hill at https://thevillageatsprucehill.com/ and one of their condos at https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/84-Sun-Rock-Dr-B-Fairplay-CO-80440/2055963945_zpid/. You may research this property yourself (just go to GIS Mapping at Park County website or call them) or ask your agent. I'd put a 0 stars rating for Aslan Home Lending Corporation and both Andy Inhelder and Mandy Straw if possible because they knew that they were selling to us non-existing property from the day 1, they knew that the property has no land and its value is MUCH lower than we are paying. They know that today, but still are selling non-existing property to the new buyers. Shame and disgrace. Wow!

I have always received a really good rate, and more importantly, amazing personalized service. Their Loan Officers are creative and can build any loan that will match the needs of the customer. There is a reason companies stay in business for 22 plus years and that is word of mouth predicated on superior service. Sigma will always get my business. Most recently, I used Sigma's Real Estate Corporation for the first time and was absolutely overwhelmed with the quality of service. Not only was the property sold quickly, but Sean Stanley provided his network of services to paint, clean, and repair necessary areas so the house would be optimal for listing. He even met his crew to ensure the work was being completed accurately and on time. Superior service indeed. After inspection, the buyer wanted the roof replaced since it came back with hail damage. I contacted the insurance company and he lined up his roofer and the roof was completed quickly with permits and inspection. The closing was only delayed 10 days. Amazing service again. When you have the chance be sure to work with Sean and see how smooth the loan or sales process can be. I can't wait for him to help me find my next property. The process is smooth as butta!

My husband and I were referred to Grover from a trusted friend while purchasing a new home…read more He was very informative throughout the entire process and he always made himself available for questions throughout the process. Due to the crazy housing market, we bought the new home before selling our existing home, which creates an interesting debt ratio and Grover informed us that underwriters would be happier if we sold our cheaper car (or paid it off). We actually ended up selling our more expensive car that we planned to sell before moving anyway, but the dealership dragged their feet starting the process (first party dealership relative to the finance company). This created a headache for Grover's team because the car financing was left open due to the incredible slowness of the dealership (it took over three weeks for the car loan to be closed out and over a month to get paid!), but he worked with us to get an exception letter for the underwriters. Unrelated lesson learned: pay off the car, then sell it, if time matters and you have the resources. Ultimately, we plan to use Grover again the next time that we move.

I had to ask Cindy and Amy five different times to get an answer as to why the underwriting would require such a ridiculous amount of coverage and when they finally did provide me with the language that agreed with what I was explaining all a long they still tried to argue with me. Finally I got them to better understand and they allowed us to insure our home at a more reasonable level of coverage but had I not fought it we would have paid thousands more at closing for Escrows and hundreds more a month in the premium. Cindy said going forward that she would not require such high coverage but I am saddened to know so many of her past clients likely agreed to being over insured and throwing money away because of Cindy's lack of knowledge. If this all hadn't occurred so close to closing I would have gone with a different lender because she was not looking out for us and making sure we got the best deals. She also was not available or responsive to our Realtor when we were putting in an offer which was concerning. There are so many better lenders out there and buying a home is already stressful enough, don't go with Cindy.
