My first school ended not being a good experience. My second was so so and not a place I could excel with my experience. I was really concerned if i would find the right place for me. Luckily, my friend's neighbor recommended Alliance in Eagle. He explained to me the high level instruction and had nothing but positive things to say. So I dropped in at their new location which was very impressive. Spoke with the owner (coral belt) Gigi, who was such a nice person and invited me to try out a class. Being 51 and a purple belt in a new school can be very intimidating. Plus I was coming back from a long layoff due to recovery from two work related surgeries. The students at Alliance were friendly, very respectful, and understanding of my circumstances. I could not ask for anything more. I highly recommend Alliance! The staff there are there to get you to the level of jujitsu you want to be.

I really just signed up to spar but multiple months later that never even happened lol and then dude tells me I need to pay extra to spar lmfao. Guess guy took a disliking to me after he took my money and just wasted my time. Other female instructor with glasses honestly just sucked too, made childish comments about me. I watched her front street fights and nothing special. There was a couple good coaches but seems like the majority are just there for money cause gym went commercial for sure. Lame experience cause of petty coaches but facility is nice. Found a new gym and sparred first day and got my fix. Wouldn't recommend to anyone above the age of 18, they will for sure suck your dry financially and waste your time.

That sounds very intimidating. Second of all, the students were very verbally aggressive and not anything like my previous relations with jiu jitsu.
