So we are walking around in Basse-ville in Quebec City and come across this quirky little store. It's an artsy-craftsy little boutique that - at least when we were there - had no identifying name on the door. We only found out the official name when we got our American Express bill. In any event, we walked by the first time and saw this really unique little top for a young woman - a part sweater (the back) part faux leather (the front) top - all in shades of grey. Our daughter liked it but didn't love it. So we circled around.
On the second go-around we all loved it and went in to check it out. Since there was no price attached we didn't know if it would require our first-born son to acquire - but it did not. Tried it on, fit wonderfully, priced right - it was a sale. We also picked up a few nick-nacks for other reasons, but the highlight of this store is really the unique clothing designs - mostly by local artisans. This is a nice little retail outlet that offers clothing designs you may not find on every corner - really nice stuff. read more
