They even coordinated with a carpenter to replace insulation and repair the wall where the old return vent had been. Knowing I was pregnant, the team rearranged their schedules to meet my tight timeline. They were patient and professional, explained everything clearly, checked our outdoor AC unit, shared simple maintenance tips, and left the work area spotless. One thoughtful touch that stood out was their practice of donating working thermostats to lower-income households instead of discarding them--something I wouldn't have thought to do. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, I will absolutely call them again for future HVAC work. They're a small team that clearly takes pride in doing the job right and taking care of their customers. A special thanks to Thommy, Mitch, and Holly!

I opened the door and found a large puddle of water coming from the bottom of my hot water heater. I immediately called Esposito & Son and Pat came that same day. he shut off the water on my unit so it wouldn't continue to leaker and explained that my water heater needed to be replaced. He then gave me an itemized estimate for what it would cost to replace my unit and told me he could do the job the next day. I found his price to be very fair and agreed to have him do the job. By noontime the next day the new hot water heater was efficiently installed and my problem was solved. I would definitely recommend Esposito & Son to anyone in need of plumbing or HVAC repairs. I had previously known it was too small for the house and poorly maintained by the previous owners. Not only did Choice verify this without me saying so, but they offered an improved, larger, and more efficient unit of the same brand, plus I got a discount for paying cash. Once it arrived, they immediately set up an appointment, and the replacement was handled by a team of Luke and two associates in less than four hours. I will be glad to pass it forward and recommend Choice to other potential new customers.

This was the first winter with a new propane furnace and it failed in the middle of the night when…read morethe temperature dropped to negative 4 degrees. I called a handful of companies and none were able to come out. I called Best Plumbing & Cooling Contractors and they asked for my contact information and then messaged me to say that there was a $300 "Emergency Fee". Although that seemed high, I had no other option. The technician arrived within the hour. He told me that he had to leave the truck running with flashing lights. My neighbor, who was also awake with a failed propane furnace, saw the vehicle in my driveway and called to see if I was ok. My neighbor told me to tell the technician to try going outside and warming up the propane regulator. He said he just warmed his up and his heat came back on. I relayed this to the technician, but he did not take him up on his suggestion. At one point he changed the flame sensor but that didn't fix the problem. He asked me if I wanted to keep the new flame sensor in or if he should take it back out. I said it was fine to leave it in. He continued to try different things and finally after an hour or so, borrowed a lighter and repeatedly put the flame up to the propane coming towards the flame sensor and got it to light. I asked the technician multiple times to please explain what he did. My husband was out of town this whole time and I wanted to be able to explain to my husband what we should do when this happens again. He kept ignoring my question but then finally said if you get it light up a few times, after a while it will stay lit. When it was time to settle the bill, I was flabbergasted at the price. It was the $300 Emergency Service, plus another $300 Labor Emergency Rate! All together, my bill was $720.79. The description on the bill was flame sensor installed, but again, the flame sensor was not the issue. After doing some research the following morning, it seems that my neighbor was correct and that the first thing you should try is warming up the regulator on the propane tank. It would seem the issue could have been fixed in 10 minutes. I have called and left messages 5 times to discuss my bill with no call backs. I am so confused as to why there are so many 5 star reviews when they won't even return my phone calls.
