She is knowledgeable and I can tell she has made hair her life's business. She helps me to pick out the perfect color and cut when I can't make a decision. I went in to get my hair bleached/dyed all one solid color, but then came out with about 3…read moredifferent tones one my head, and on top of not getting the hair I wanted I was double charged for product I didn't know was being used. They charged me for a full hair cut when she snipped away three very small chunks of hair on my ends. The stylist bleached my roots down to my tips by slathering a glob on top of one section of my hair and rubbing it in with her fingers. The dye was done using the same method. Once my hair was bleached my roots were almost white and my ends were basically orange. She used a demi dye and then tried to cover up the spots that didn't take with a semi dye, but never told me until it was too late and we were rinsing the dye out. It's been 5 days and all of the semi dye has faded out. I was charged around $160 when I was told it would only be around $80. When I went to talk to the manager she just offered to schedule me another appointment and just kept saying that my "hair probably didnt take to color". But this is the first issue I've ever had with colored hair in 7 years. There is no way in hell I will ever let a Smart Style employee touch my hair again!
