When they asked how long we wanted the massage for, I said one hour because they close at 9 pm, but they said we can do however long we want, it's up to us. We still chose the one hour since we felt bad making them stay longer, but the fact that they were so flexible is great customer service. The actual massage was incredible. The rooms are private, and my boyfriend literally fell asleep. I felt so relaxed after, and they applied the perfect amount of pressure. The prices are also unbeatable. I'd 100% recommend this place to everybody I know!

Both times I selected the "30 min foot + 30 min body combo" massage listed on the sign for $60. On the first visit, when it was time to pay, I was told I had received a Swedish massage and was charged $70, even though I did not receive a Swedish massage. I returned a second time assuming the first visit was a misunderstanding. Again, I chose the "30 min foot + 30 min body combo" massage for $60, and again at checkout I was told the total was $70, due to a $10 upcharge for "deep pressure." This upcharge was not disclosed in advance. I was only asked if I preferred soft or firmer pressure at the beginning of the massage. I answered "firmer", which is my preference and doesn't result in an upcharge anywhere I go - unless I specifically select a deep tissue massage. The unexpected price change at checkout caused sticker shock, which completely ruined the relaxation of the massage. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt, but as this happened twice now... I don't feel inclined to go back to try a third time, let alone try anything else on their menu. The second visit also skipped arms, shoulders, and hands, which are normally included in a massage, and there was no foot bath, which is typically standard at a foot reflexology place. While I did appreciate the private room and it seemed clean, it was tiny and I was freezing, despite a space heater being in the room. Clear, upfront pricing is important. When the advertised price changes at payment, especially more than once, it's not a good experience. I generally tip 30% at these establishments and still did so, as I don't know if the overcharge was from the employee, or employer-but I definitely won't be returning and I will look for another place that doesn't try to bait & switch on pricing.

A beautiful and intimate space with many amazing plants bespeaks of a personal and inviting sanctuary for one to rest and heal. When one entrusts one's body to a healer one must be able to do just that and Steve's gifted technique has been honed over years of applied principles to the point of mastery. He is capable of any level of massage or healing: one only need to specify desired modality and pressure. Massage began with a good epsom salt foot scrub and then progressed to one of the deeper applications of pressure point massages I've ever had in my life, and I've had a few. To use this level of strength and pressure a person really must know what they're doing to effect healing and not injury, and healing is certainly the case here at Livewell massage; one of the finest boutique massage outfits on the planet, sans the boutique pricetag. I've had A LOT of massages! And with all the experience I've had, I have to say Caitlin is by far the best massage therapist I've ever had. She's intuitive, she knows where to work, she listens to the muscles and works with them in a way they're needing and she uses lots of different techniques to get the job done. I've been seeing her for years and will continue to do so. Since I've had so much success with Caitlin, I've referred friends and family too. She has CURED, yes read that again, CURED sciatica in a family member and friend of mine already. If you're suffering from this, don't get surgery, don't take pills, just fix it with Caitlin. Randy did mention that they are moving locations next week, however. Intake form was standard. Randy reviewed the form and asked a few questions before allowing time to get on the table. Small touches to the amenities were very nice, such as hooks for bags, a bin for glasses and keys, hair ties provided should you have forgotten your own, and peppermint oil on the face cradle. Randy managed to work on my noted problem areas while completing a full body Swedish within the 60 minutes. He was not chatty, but checked in a few times which I appreciate. He has a good sense of pressure and corrected for some bilateral imbalance in tension, which many massage therapists do not do. Towards the end, warm towels were used on my back and legs to remove excess oil, and I was given a cloth after to remove any excess massage oil. After getting dressed Randy debriefed me on aligning my hip and gave some recommendations about switching sides while carrying my son to avoid imbalance. Overall I was very happy with the experience and would return. Massage is not something I often make time for, but the experience was both relaxing and physically therapeutic here. Well worth the time and expense. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. The only unfortunate part was that my husband was also given a Groupon and was told he could not use it because they moved locations. He had to have his sister call Groupon to reimburse.

If you're even considering booking with Hiram at Dunamis Sports Massage -- stop thinking and just…read moreschedule it. He is absolutely next level. Hiram's depth of knowledge is on a completely different tier. He understands musculature, pain patterns, central nervous system responses, and the full spectrum of sports medicine in a way that goes far beyond typical massage therapy. He doesn't chase symptoms -- he identifies and addresses the root cause. In one visit, he completely changed my range of motion. He was able to calm and "distract" irritated nerves, retrain muscles that had been locked up under stress and inflammation, and begin the actual rebuilding process to fix the issue -- not just temporarily relieve it. The difference was immediate and measurable. What he delivers feels more like elite-level physical therapy combined with advanced neuromuscular work -- not just massage. The quality of care, precision, and results are exceptional. Honestly, I would pay significantly more for the level of expertise and results he provides. He's that good. If you're dealing with pain, limited mobility, sports injuries, or chronic tension -- Hiram is the guy. Absolute game changer.
