The collection isn't massive but you can still get fairly late releases at a much cheaper price than other commercial dvd hire places. There are also computers where you can access free internet. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You can reserve books online and order books from other libraries in derby and collect them at this library or another library of your choice.

This is a nice little library located in the village itself (just behind the main shopping street),…read morethe computers are always busy & they have a nice little childrens area with a good selection of books (i'd go as far as to say the books for toddlers are more varied & better in Mickleover library than the City Library!), however as their story time doesn't seem to be that popular if you turn up for it and don't tell anyone you'll find there is no story.

Has an automatic door for disabled access and a lift for wheelchairs and prams. Has a brilliant children's section upstairs which caters for babies up to teenagers. Holds a story-time session for the under 5's on tuesdays and a cradle club for babies under 18 months, which is brilliant. Also runs bookstart passport scheme to encourage parents to share books with their babies and various challenges in conjunction with the council to encourage older children throughout the year. Has small car park outside.
