RECORDS FORWARDING. If you've been having trouble getting your records forwarded since Dr. Brehaut…read moreclosed his office, you can fill out a NYS DOH-3867 form and mail it to the address listed on the form. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Brehaut is a terrific doctor who helped saved my Dad's life when he had a stroke and helped give me precious extra months with my Mom when she had a major stroke. However, we had trouble getting records forwarded after his office closed. Maybe he subcontracted records forwarding to a firm that made an error or maybe there were technical issues with electronic forwarding, I don't know. Nevertheless, we've heard that we weren't the only ones. Dr. Brehaut's contact information online appears to be out of date, so it was difficult to contact him directly to voice concerns about records forwarding issues. As such, we filled out a DOH-3867 form. We just politely wrote that Dr. Brehaut is a fantastic doctor, but for whatever reason... something happened to our forwarding request. Albany proceeded to contact him on our behalf to facilitate records forwarding. Again, a really great doctor, he's done great things for my family! The only minor medical concern I ever had when we visited him was that I thought he was somewhat too cautious about the vaccine. But again, if anyone else is having trouble contacting him due to outdated contact information online and need to get records forwarded, mailing a DOH-3867 form might help.

Dr. Dreiner is one of the very best doctors I've ever seen. Not only is she very knowledgeable and…read moreprofessional but she listens intently and is very sympathetic. She was able to diagnose me quickly and also gave me a lot of take home information. To inquire even further, she ordered blood work and told me I could have it done downstairs. She took the time to explain everything to me and even asked if I had any questions. I never felt she was rushed. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend her very highly to anyone who may need a rheumatologist!!

My only complaint would be with CNY Cardiology for being dismissive of their patients who see him and scheduling patients with another dr. without consulting them. My husband has a long and complicated medical history. We are at the mercy of the drs overseeing his care and it took YEARS to adjust the delicate balance of his medications so one med did not have consequences on other medical issues. With respect to the other drs there, one simple change can and HAS triggered a series of medical consequences for him. Imagine how "happy" I was when after several medical emergencies, I arrived with my husband to find out that the appointment I gave up so my husband could see dr. sooner was switched to another dr without consulting me first. Give the powers that be are not familiar with personal medical histories/concerns/preferences that seemed disrespect of our RIGHT to make that choice and given that it is by administration rather than a trained medical professional, be aware that such actions could be have ramifications on them as well as the people they serve. I made it clear if it happens again, I will leave and reschedule.

His staff have always been very kind and supportive to me, and it really makes a difference knowing exactly what's wrong so that I can have the right treatment. Also, side note, I think it's WILD that people rate the doctor based on the attitudes of his receptionists. It's not like he's instructing them to be rude - that would be crazy - and he can't micromanage every interaction. Get a grip.

It is so unfair and heartless to let me continue in pain after a year when Dr. Candido promised to…read morework with me regarding paying for his service. All I wanted was to understand why he and the secretary on the phone kept saying it was illegal to provide me with the information to either have him paid or be reimbursed. I also wanted to know how was I supposed to submit a claim to my insurance company to get reimbursed for his services if he, or this mystery owner, were claiming it was my responsibility to complete and submit all necessary information on my own if they were refusing to provide the needed information to do so. I don't understand why they would refuse payment in full from the insurance company or allow me to be reimbursed after I paid for his services. Regardless of all that I had paid for the doctor's services by money order to ensure that Dr. Candido was paid for his services. I even had payment in full for the services he was to provide on March 8, when he neither showed up or called to the appointment. I don't understand why "the owner" would force me to see another provider while not even considering allowing Dr. Candido and I to see what could be worked out as he promised. He and the secretary promised to work with me, and she said he would take good care of me. He was exceptionally nice, put me at ease, and patiently explained everything to me. It's been so hard finding providers like that. It's unfortunate when the care is eliminated from healthcare and providers no longer care about patients but how they get their money no matter what the consequences for the patient. Such as refusing to allow me to be reimbursed and paying them in cash or, as I had, by money order. That's just plain heartless and really seems to be the norm rather than rare. AND ACCORDING TO ROMEDENTAL.NET I WAS GOING TO BE OVER CHARGED FOR THE NEXT APPOINTMENT!!!
