I feel like my doctor actually cares about my well-being. It honestly feels like allergists don't take adults seriously when it comes to allergies or asthma because we haven't been treated since childhood. Trust me, I'm not trying to be trendy just to have to use an inhaler every morning and night! I'm not trying to fake a food allergy for attention. I wish more doctors took their patients seriously, like the doctor at this practice. Makes a world of difference.

Her initial pediatrician failed to diagnose my child with GERD until I DID. I actually suggested that was what it could be and turns out it was. From day one, the Dr's and staff have treated my baby like she's a part of their family. They recognize her name when I call, show her care and attention during visits... she's not just a number here--and it shows. Dr. Lamantia is like a big teddy bear or Santa Claus.. very gentle and mild mannered and puts you at ease. He's been a Dr. for as long as I've been born, which is so charming. The problem here is that they charge a $75 no-show fee for missed appointments. Had I not checked my voicemail, I wouldn't have had awareness of this policy, nor would I have accepted it. If this office wants to charge people for skipping appointments, then it needs to be sure that it is scheduling with the actual patient. I was yelled at for suggesting how ludicrous this is to the receptionist, like she took that personally for some reason. Very scammy attitude. Learn to accomodate your patients.
