I love Dr. Ho. Unfortunately, he works in the Marlboro office now. The other doctor who my daughter…read moresees is nice. I can not say the same for some of the reception staff. Extremely rude. Especially Susie. I literally walk up to the check in counter and stand there for minutes, with no smile, greeting, or even a "I'll be right with you." You just stand there and wait, while she types a chart. And she ignores you. This has happened to me multiple times. God forbid I need to update my insurance info or have a billing question, you'll really upset her. It was better when there was a sign in sheet so I didn't have to interact with her. The nurses and other technicians are all wonderful. They are kind and caring. So, take this review of what it's worth. The front reception staff is the face of the business. They fail in that area. The other areas are good. I think I'll switch to Marlboro. If they have the same issue then I'll find another allergist. Too many businesses undervalue the idea of decent service. I'm not talking about exceeding expectations, which any business should strive to do, but rather they fail at even being mediocre in this area. If you want patients who happy and continue to frequent you r office, then you should smile once in a while and don't act like you are being bothered by helping me.

I've had to make a few trips down to Toms River Location to be seen, since I worked in that area and experienced the same professional care. Over these many years being under his care, Dr Viksman is not only my Doctor, but a good friend as the entire staff in Holmdel are and have become lik a family. Living with chronic asthmas is tough. Having a medical professional who specializes in this field and doctor that honestly commits himself to Excellence , Best treatment & Care is what Doctor Viksman is and has stood steadfast in providing the best treatment. He's helped me be My Best. If you are looking for Proper Treatment for your Asthma, I highly Recommend this Group.

I needed a…read moreappointment with in a day or two, due to the fact that I have been vomiting on and off for 3 weeks, went to the emergency room and had to follow up with my health care provider. I was told that the next appoint was in mid November. I told the receptionist that I really did not feel well and needed it sooner. There was nothing she could do. I am so disgusted, if I'm calling to come in for other than a physical, it means that I am really sick. What kind of Doctor can not fit in sick patients. I am very disappointed and no longer recommend this office. I asked to have my records, I was told when I find a new Dr. I will need to sign a release. So insensitive and uncaring. I would have giving no stars if it was an option. I am in the medical field and stat add on patients are part of the job.

I told her after weighing me to not tell me my weight since I have body image issues and don't like to focus on my weight number since it can be upsetting for me. That was the first sign of disrespect. Then she starts mocking my beliefs and morals that are linked to my diet. I tell her I suffer from anemia. She acts like she doesn't believe me and "how could I know that" my previous doctor diagnosed me with it? She then tells me that I do have it and starts telling me I'm malnourished. I asked her for advice on what to eat and she just starts listing things that I already eat. I tell her I'm depressed, have trouble sleeping and she offers no help other than "try Prozac" with a laugh. She then says I'm social and have friends so I'm fine. Completely disrespectful. She asked me if I was sexually active and before I could answer she just said no and writes that down. I tried to explain that wasn't the case but she didn't believe me? Or didn't take it seriously? It was so uncomfortable. I had a lot of concerns and questions about my health and when I tried to ask she cuts me off and tells me "I have other patients" and ended the appointment. What the hell. Don't go to her. My family sees other doctors there and are fine but don't go to Barbara.
