Salesman: Good guy, answered all my questions, worked hard for my business, continued to answer my questions, post install. Installation team: Very kind, respectable, friendly, efficient, and everything went smoothly. Financing: This is where I'm frustrated. Was we were finalizing details of the new system we got to payment and financing. I intended to pay half cash and finance the rest. I searched and learned that Trane (the brand I chose) had a promotion for 60 months 0% interest. This is a great deal. I asked about that deal and the Salesman, Shayne, talked to his boss. He came back and said they weren't partnered with Trane in that certain way so they couldn't offer that deal. Understandable. I accepted that. I was offered and accepted 15yrs @ 9.99%. I intend to pay this off much quicker. Almost 2 weeks later, I get a flyer in the mail from Arce(RC) offering those same exact terms, but through a different bank/partner. I felt cheated. I estimate I could've saved between $800 - $2500 on the life of this loan. That's REAL money. Shane went to his boss and his boss knew full well this promotion was going to drop soon, but couldn't offer me these same terms. I have OUTSTANDING credit. Do promos come and go? Yeah. But I don't buy that I couldn't have been offered this deal because of a date technicality. Again, objectively everything else in this process was great. But this made me feel more like a number and less like a valued customer. I would still recommend them for their workmanship, but be very cautious. Push for the strongest deal possible. Don't let them convince you they can't make a deal. They're lying.

He did a great job cleaning and reconfiguring our dryer duct connection, removing a box and rigid elbow that narrowed down to 2" (by design) that has been flagged for greatly increasing the energy use of a dryer. He said the new connection should improve the dryer's efficiency by 60%. The air flow out of the exterior dryer vent increased from 12.5 (feeble) to 18.5 (excellent) after his work! Plumber was friendly and I felt like he knew what he was doing. He quoted me, fixed the problem, charged me the quoted price. Told me some helpful things. I can't speak to anyone else's experience, as this review is all my personal experience and opinion…read moreonly, as I know not everyone will have the same experience and I also know there are some solid techs at this company (I have personally dealth with them), but unfortunately I had a nightmare experience with mutiple bad apples in my opinion, and it unfortunately resulted in the end of my storied relationship with a plumber that I thought would be the last one I would ever need, but as they say if something seems too good to be true it usually is... I thought I had found a plumber for life, but my personal experience with Option One ended up with me feeling as though they exhibited failed ownership in addressing an issue caused by errors from their techs, lack of accountability with regard to said issue and becoming confrontational and argumentative when the issue was brought to their attention. Long story short, I had a plumbing blockage that resulted in my front yard needing to be dug up and new pipes being installed in the yard. Upon completion of the job, I experienced flooding in my yard and requested Option One to come out and address the issue. They tried to claim it was an irrigation issue not their problem, but after getting another Option One tech and a plumber from another company to come out, it was confirmed (via photos) that the flooding was due to Option One failing to connect the piping correctly. Instead of taking ownership and accountability for the issue, I was met with defensiveness, along with the above stated lack of ownership and accountability. At one point in the process I even had to ask one of the techs to leave my property because he had such a dismissive unprofessional attitude. I could go on and on but I have already wasted so much time on dealing with this issue that it isn't worth any more of my time. At the end of the day, I found another company to correct the failed work done by Option One and this company apologized on behalf of Option One, as this company felt bad that I had to go through such an ordeal, given that the plumbing industry is already viewed in a negative light by many, right up there with mechanics, car salesmen and attorneys by some. You can read my past reviews to see how much I praised this company in the past, which is why I was so disappointed by what in my personal option was a complete lack of accountability and ownership by multiple individuals across the Option One company. After giving this company multiple five star reviews over the years, I cannot recommend them to anyone anymore as the trust they gained over the years was lost in an instant and based on my personal experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone moving forward like I have done in the past.
