No more though.There are literally people riding around in golf carts everyday telling you what you're doing wrong. (Wrong = parking your boat in the grass next to your camper, placing small "happy camper" signs next to your pad, parking a vehicle next to the pad when there's not a place on the pad, no satellite dish in the grass, etc.) Since nothing can go in the grass, EVERYTHING has to be on the pad. This means there is almost zero room for your rug, chairs, grill, satellite, watercraft, table, garbage can. Are you getting my point? We can't even play a game of cornhole! There's no room, and you can't put it in the grass. The men and women that are having to knock on camper doors to tell you you're doing it wrong, they HATE doing it. Unfortunately they have to follow the rules too. We understand that and we aren't upset with them. We are upset with the small group of men and women that changed these rules this year, and we will not be back at Timberlake as a result. That's a shame too. We used to love it here! Goodness knows we've spent a lot of money here.

Breakfast with Yogi, hay rides, crafts, swimming...all kinds of fun things for adults and kids to do to be entertained. Park is clean, safe and beautiful! I've read some previous post complaints and my take on it is be nice and complimentary and it's returned tenfold. There is a lot of pride and excitement here and it shows. Fishing, paddleboats and lots of walking areas and doggy park. The frogs, crickets and cicadas serenade you to sleep at night. Fun to watch the ducks and geese in the pond too. The best shady sites in my opinion are; #42,#43,#51,#52,#70&#72. We look forward to coming back here again and will let others know about this wonderful place in Mississippi. Just an FYI for future campers, you will receive an e-mail after your first night in the park, "inviting you stay another night" and if you choose to stay another night the e-mail offers you $10 off, I did not see the e-mail until we left the park so the nice cashier did Not give me $10 off, that is obviously my fault for not keeping up on my e-mails. Curious as to why the camp manager crammed all the campers right next to each other (3 ft between campers) when there were obviously 25 open spots across the road to where she could have spaced us all a few sites apart? Did not like that and I am sure my next door neighbor campers did not like hearing each others doors open/close & other common noises. Should take one star away for that.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Nestled near a cascading pond, this campground is a real…read moregem. Since we were here in 2023, the campground has gotten even more beautiful. We always try to get a spot on the lake with its ducks and beautiful grounds. We were only going to stay one night on our way to Colorado, but we're exhausted after traveling for two days. So we opted to stay the second nite. On Saturdays they have coffee on the porch from 9-10 am. We enjoyed meeting other campers with their doggies and sat and talked while we sipped our coffee. They have added a beautiful pool and kiddie play area. Of course Freckles enjoys her romp in the gated dog park. There are doggie waste bags along the roads, so you can walk your dogs. Some sites have enclosed patios with grills, tables and all the sites have fire pits. It is just delightful to sit outside by the lake and if you like you can catch and release fish. We're looking forward to grilling outside and having a fire. Tomorrow we will be on our way but the memories will stay with us forever!
