Oasis Senior Advisors Treasure Coast

What a pleasure dealing with Oasis Senior Advisors Treasure Coast…read more We feel fortunate to have come across this agency. Our advisor showed compassion and sincere caring for her clients. Melissa Dalsingh is very perceptive she picked up on our needs. She found us a place we could afford and be comfortable living in. Thank you Melissa for your kind ways and professionalism.

Neighbors mostly snowbirds and totally cliquey to boot. Isolated, lonely, depressed, felt that there was no life ahead. I could have a heart attack and rot in there, and nobody would know or care. (Sorry for being so graphic, but yep, that is what depression feels and sounds like..) A friend referred me to Oasis. Ann came to see me and discussed my physical abilities & disabilities, wants, needs. She emailed me a list of 6 facilities with INDEPENDENT LIVING apartments, we set up appointments to visit 3 of them.. I fell absolutely in love with the first place she took me to, put a deposit, and moved in the following week and sold my condo. Now I am with other people who are pretty much at a similar life stage. I have friends, activities, incredible amenities, and now I do "have a life". (and by the way, this at NO COST to me.) THANK YOU, Ann!!

My brother received a medical diagnosis that would require a life time of care in a memory care…read moreunit. He had a terrible first placement experience post hospital discharge. His personal care lacked in all areas and he felt unsafe, anxious and it was clear his needs were being neglected. There is nothing worse than leaving a family member in a facility they don't feel safe in and you know their needs are not being met. This concern brought us to the Symphony at Stuart and this move has meant a world of difference for my brother! Symphony at Stuart more than met all of our family's expectations and this includes my brother who is now settled in and thriving. The facility is clean, bright and welcoming with an extremely impressive care and medical staff on site who have responded to all questions or concerns. My brother has responded to this positive move; he is less anxious and much more positive about his situation. They have a wonderful Memory Care Director, Melissa who is totally involved in all aspects of my brothers care. She is approachable, concerned and proactive with any family concerns brought to her. With engaging staff and a calendar full of monthly activities my brother clearly feels better about his situation. He is clean, smiling, engaged and mostly happy and Symphony at Stuart and his family feels great knowing he is now feeling secure and knowing Symphony at Stuart really does care!

I'm always scared if it's an emergency and they don't show up in time. The management there is horrible and only cares about the money and not the residents. The exception to the management is the awesome nursing supervisor who has been so professional, helpful and kind since we moved in. She has gone out of her way to help us and she is the only reason I have kept my mom there for so long, but unfortunately she has recently quit because of the corrupt management there. I will be moving my mom out of this facility as soon as possible!

First off let me say I actually do like the Gardens; the COVID has not helped. My mom has dementia…read moreand has been staying on the ALF side. At the end of April she had a stroke, she returned but to the SNF side for some rehab. She wants to go back to the ALF side; she keeps trying to 'escape' because she wants her ALF room back. Every time I talk to someone (when I can get them to return my call haha) tells me something different. There is NO communication with the family. I finally find out at the end of her 100% covered SNF days that I could have refused and had her back on the ALF already. My mom can walk by herself, feed herself, dress herself, bathe herself; her dementia memory has always been there and I will admit has exacerbated, but it would not be as bad if she were not on the skilled nursing side as she is bored and COVID isolating her family has not helped the situation! She wants her room and her recliner. Kristi is wonderful and about the one that has communicated with me almost immediately. The social worker has tried. The rest of the management I am not impressed with, I will admit I did not need them before so I was not aware.

The staff and the amenities are so far and above everything I saw it's the right choice for anyone. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating and it's a brightly lit facility smiles abound. Nicole is fabulous and will explain everything to the last detail. Highly recommend. I'm beginning to end this is the place for a quality lifestyle.

UPDATE! I met with a person from the corporate office and nothing has changed!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR…read moreFAMILY FIND A DIFFERENT FACILITY!!! HORRIBLE STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! FROM THE TOP AT CORPORATE OFFICE TO THE LIVING FACILITY IS HORRIBLE!!! Once they rope you in and pray on your weakness to find help for your family members and once they get you in, you are unable to get a hold of anybody for anything! The memory care unit is the worst in this facility I walk into see my family member and you see people sitting with no bras on, their pants aren't pulled up all the way, they're sitting in their own urine and fecal matter. This place is horrible. The staff in the memory care unit have such attitudes when you ask them questions about your loved ones. They need to work on communication with family members and show the family members a little respect because it's the family members that are making their paychecks possible!!! At one point, when I went to take my family member out for the day, a resident from the memory care unit snuck out behind me and the staff member was pulling the resident's arm to get her back into the unit! The resident was screaming and I had to step in and handle the situation! Residents should be handled with love, respect and dignity and not pulled at like animals!! The other issue is with the billing department! They slip extra change onto the bill! They debited my bank account with one amount and then the bill reflects that I didn't pay them the amount they debited out of my account but instead they tell me that I'm wrong and I'm the idiot that doesn't know how to read a bill. They nickel and dime you to death, so pay close attention to your bill!! I have asked them numerous times to give me a call and sit down with them so I can explain my issue and no one calls me and no one wants to hear what I'm trying to explain to them, but they do keep debiting my account to get their money! When an issue arises and you try to call the department heads, no one returns your phone calls. When you get tired of dealing with a lack of communication from the facility itself and you try to call the corporate office, they also let you fall through the cracks and do not return calls either. This place really needs to be turned into the state of Florida regarding their care for patients and their lack of attentiveness to family members and their constant over billing and refusal to correct it. There are so many other issues with this place as well. They overdosed my sister and didn't know how to care for her. They had the tenacity to ask me what they wanted them to do. I told them to send her to the hospital. They have no protocols in place if there is something detrimental happening to your loved one. The staff seem to go into blame mode instead of focusing on the patient in need!! I took down my original post that actually detailed what happened to her because I promised the executive Director of the Wickshire that I would take it down until another incident evolved. That is why I am making this post. The sad part is: I shouldn't have had to write another post!! My concerns and questions should have been addressed after the first incident!!! Key points here: 1.They have no respect for your loved ones-they do not care about the dignity of your loved ones!!!! 2. Staff sit in the office on the Memory Care Unit and talk to family or just play on their phones or computer! 3.If you ask staff a question, they seemed to be bothered by your disrupting them! 4. Also when you take your loved one out for the day from the Memory Care Unit, the med techs DO NOT fill out the forms of what medications you are bringing home with your family member! They expect the family members to fill out the paperwork for them! 5. This facility and staff are more eager to blame instead of finding a solution to the problem. 6. The lack of communication runs rapid from the corporate office down to the facility level. 7. They over bill. 8.This place needs a complete overhaul from Corporate Office down to facility level!
