The location is great but they tend to enter your apartment more often than usual it seems.

Like any community, there were a few things future renters may want to keep in mind: 1. Parking - Parking could be a bit unpredictable, which is fairly common in apartment living. I always appreciated that the management team made a real effort to keep things organized and to address any concerns quickly and fairly. There were a few times the lot was so full I couldn't park so I had to park by the leasing office in the new resident parking which was across the community from my unit. Although there was opportunity to pay monthly for a designated spot. 2. Noise - The walls are on the thinner side, so some noise from neighbors could be heard at times, and I'm sure ours carried as well. We did our best to be considerate, especially with TV volume and quiet hours, but occasional feedback still came up. We also heard typical apartment sounds like pets, voices, and snoring. Management was thoughtful in sending reminders to help everyone stay mindful of shared living. 3. Outdoor space - One of my favorite parts of living at Novo was the outdoor space. There is a beautiful lake area that feels peaceful and tucked away from the road. Our unit had a lovely view and access to a grassy area right outside, which we really enjoyed. I'll truly miss sitting out there and enjoying the calm. 4. Management - The management team made a big difference in my overall experience. They were consistently kind, responsive, and professional. Jasmine especially stood out for her warmth and attentiveness--she always made sure we understood what was going on and followed up when we had questions. It felt like they genuinely cared about the residents. 5. Deposit - The move-out process was straightforward. The initial deposit was $500, and while it went toward final charges, we did owe a small additional amount (around $20) for items like drip pan repairs and painting touch-ups. It's worth noting that anything requiring more than an hour of painting labor is billed separately at move-out, which can add to final charges. We also had minor nail holes from hanging pictures. Overall, Novo was a clean, peaceful place to live with a lot of positives that made it feel safe. It's not perfect--as no community is--but I felt supported by management, and I'm grateful for the time I spent there.

Maintenance came by the following day to basically hammer it down and If we find anymore, to basically do the same thing he did. Crickets became our uninvited roommate for 2 weeks i believe? i remember waking up and stepping on one so that was great. They did call pest control so 1 pt for novo. Walls and ceilings are thin so if you're looking to hear your neighbors this is the place for you. This review is just the prelude. Will definitely come back once our lease nightmare is over.

Hieu was patient with us as we had tons of questions about what to do and gave us great ideas. The project was done much quicker than we anticipated so we could enjoy our backyard this summer. We ended up with a herringbone paver patio, high quality artificial turf, a pathway on the side yard and a raised bed garden with gravel surrounding. They were the most affordable quote we received, yet the quality of work and customer service was unmatched. Highly recommend!

From start to finish, Hieu's attention to detail was fantastic & the project progressed at a good pace. Hieu & crew showed up every day rain or shine until the job was completed, which gave me peace of mind knowing that he was dedicated to finish my project in a timely manner. When we saw the transformation taking place. we came up w/more ideas & added to the project in the middle of it, which he was more than willing to take on. The walkway and stone wall themselves are absolutely stunning & added so much curb appeal to our home. I am totally impressed with his craftsmanship and eye for detail, not to mention he is just a heck of a nice guy! We will definitely hire Hieu again for future landscape projects I highly recommend Hieu and Pacific Landscaping. You won't be disappointed.

There was 2 shootings in the back of the red building in the past year, there's a lot of drug activity going on, and I've had my car broken into twice (and I pay $65/month for a parking garage spot). There are always suspicious looking people hanging around the entrance of the complex, which does not make it look inviting at all. The apartment complex is horribly mismanaged. They've lost my rent check three times and sent me eviction notices two days later. They couldn't make me pay them again only because I had them make a receipt copy of my checks each time I paid. Not to mention that there is a new set of staff members in there about every 3-6 months. If you don't believe me, check out a few posts from 2 and 4 months ago. Each one has a response from the owner that states that they are the "new community director" with two different names. Kelli and Trisha. Polaris at Covington is run by FPI Management who excels in overcharging you when you move out. When I moved out, I was charged $175.00 "standard" apartment cleaning fee and a $275 "standard" carpet cleaning fee (not replacement, CLEANING FEE). That's absolutely ridiculous when I had NO PETS and I rug doctored the unit twice myself. There is NO REASON for $300 worth of cleaning for a carpet that is already spotless. Then I was charged a $300 painting fee for an apartment that I lived in for 11 MONTHS. So you can pretty much guarantee that you won't be getting your deposit back AND you might have to owe them too. There's no way that I should have been charged $750 for an apartment that I was in for 11 MONTHS. All in all, I would not move here. They've got cheap rent but you also get what you pay for. Please take my advice and DO NOT move here.

I'm disabled lived on the 6th floor and I can't even count the amount of times the elevator broke down(and we don't have keys to the stairs, they are exit only) the garage doors broke multiple times to where they just left them open (even though we pay extra to have a secured garage) the air conditioner (which is only for the hallways) broke mid summer and water poured from my ceiling (they never repaired the drywall to avoid mold) the cops came all the time, worst was a two week stretch where they had to bust in my next apt overs door with like 6 cops with guns drawn, a week later there was a shoot out in the parking lot where bullets just missed my car and lodged in the building and the fence(this was middle of the day right after the elementary school let out) we were all trapped inside as there was an active shooter, cops running across my ceiling and the grounds with serious firepower .... shooter was never caught and somehow no one knew who it was ‍... please if you value safety for your children, don't want to find needles on the ground and possible random guns above your kitchen cabinets when you move in ... and even halfway decent management go somewhere else .... oh and the amenities yea you can't use those after business hours (work hrs) so yea might as well not exist .... the fitness center gets destroyed by unsupervised kids and then shut down .... no package delivery so hope u are quick as packages will get stolen within minutes of being dropped off ...
