First I…read morehave to say that I did not buy hearing aids from them: therefore I understand charging me a higher fee which for an adjustment to the hearing aids. My issue is the $700 per hearing aide was a little excess. The only reason I went to them was the manufacturer suggested them for the adjustments I needed. $1,400 dollars for roughly two hours of works; mostly on the computer was above the average for the Pittsburgh area. It should have been $400 to $600 per aide. My last visit I was having issues and all that was done was additional information that I should have got on my last visit. The charge $45. If you buy from them you get unlimited follow ups, but you well pay full retail price for the aids. There are other audiologists that are just has good as them but not as greedy. One last thing; the price included one 4 month follow up if they needed adjusted but there would be a $45 charge for an office visit.

When I took them back, he offered to order Primax Pure 7 PXM aids which were rechargeable and came with the "clip" which provides streaming. The price was to be $178 less than the original ones. I made a note of the model name so I could research them while I waited for them to come in. When they came in, he said he couldn't get rechargeable ones and was giving me batterys and a TV transmitter. He had already programmed them. When I insisted on a change in the base volume, I saw on the screen that they were 3PXM which is two steps below what he quoted. When I refused to take them, he said the price quoted was below his cost. It took me 3 months from the initial demo to get a refund. He charged me $445 for programming and work on my old ones when I went in for the test and $200 cancellation fee. (I did a demo from another vendor and when I returned them I walked out with a check for the full amount)

But this…read moreafternoon, one of your vans tailgated me at a very unsafe distance for a long period on an extremely steep downhill (Wenzell in Beechview). Ever hear of the two second rule? Apparently not. At the bottom of the hill (Wenzell and Banksville Road) I was turning left and pulled into a different lane. Your van crossed Banksville at a high rate of speed, running a light that had been red for at least a few seconds, nearly causing an accident with oncoming traffic. I can only hope that none of your clients was in the van. Unless somebody in the van was having an actual heart attack, you're not a good corporate citizen or a helpful neighborhood business.
