An absolute delight to stumble upon this gem. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with an outdoor…read more-covered- courtyard that was lovely even in early April (they turned on a heat lamp for us). Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor, and they had a very unique menu with lots of local/fresh ingredients. Adrianna speaks English, Italian, and Dutch, so it was a treat to understand her as she described the menu and gave us some recommendations. She was very helpful in offering suggestions as to what was freshest that day. She pointed out that there were no truffles available (as they did not find them)--- I think this is a great sign, as clearly they focus on ingredients that are fresh and available!
We had fresh caught tuna, on a bed of arugula and crusted in pistachio -- best I've ever had.
Also had a handmade spaghetti with fresh clams and a delicious tomato based sauce with fresh red peppers.
Some sort of lemon creme brûlée (the proper name escapes me) for dessert --- I loved the touch of lemon.
The only downside is that I wanted to try more! Everything on the menu looked marvelous
Adrianna and her husband Paolo -the chef- truly know how to create a wonderful evening with delicious food, great hospitality, and they do it with passion.
A must visit! I hope to come back!
