Yeah, this is one of those off the map sort of stations, the one that unless you actually live in the area (or prefer to come here because of parking availability, or simply want to have a drink at the pub) then you are probably unlikely to use. Well, it is an accessible station, so I'll give it that, but on the other hand, there really isn't much in the way of other facilities, though there is a pub across the road. Mind you, the only time you will probably be waiting for a train here is to either go to work, or have had a little too much to drink and need another way home. read more

This Hotel is situated opposite Allawah train station ...... and like many pubs that's a good thing too. You can plan a night out and have as many drinks as you wish. The beer is cold with a good variety on tap ..... the food looks and smells good as the staff whisk past me on their way to an eager looking customer. This hotel is neat .... presentable and in good condition ..... looks pretty modern too ..... big screen TV for us footy buffs ..... and noise levels that will not cause any problems.
