We just purchased our home and wanted to open up the place. Efrain and his team were able to knock…read moredown 3 walls for us and patch them up so quickly. They were very clean and efficient and very easy to work with. Since things were moving so quickly we also added on a room in our basement, and they were able to get that done for us as well. They worked straight through 3 weeks, and didn't come one day and disappear for a couple days like some contractors do. Overall their work is great, very easy to work with, they were very clean and efficient and couldn't ask for a better experience.

Efrain is amazing!! He is a good listener, very patient, and really takes his time to pay extra…read moreattention to detail and make sure the customer is completely satisfied, which is rare today. I interviewed several drywallers, painters, and contractors before choosing EC Painting & Home Maintenance. Efrain's verbal communication and English is EXCELLENT which was very important to me when choosing a contractor to make sure everything went smoothly. I knew my project had unique challenges--unlevel floors, walls and doorways that weren't square or plumb, nail pops, and large settling cracks from a 49+ year-old building. I was very concerned no matter what I did things would never look "straight," but Efrain worked with me diligently to get things "picture perfect" so that the crooked walls and floors disappeared and became invisible to the naked eye when finished. From the start, Efrain listened carefully, answered all my detailed (often technical) questions, and worked with me to find the best approach--for example, reframing bifold doors so they would look straight and close properly when one side of the floor was nearly 2" lower than the other. I know I'm not the easiest customer since I like to understand exactly how things will be done, but Efrain was patient, explained everything clearly, and was flexible as we figured out solutions along the way. Also, unlike some contractors/owners who show up for an estimate but then send different workers to do the job, which often results in gaps in communication, he also did most of the work personally (adding 1-2 additional crew when needed) and was always available and responsive to calls, texts and emails, so there were no communication gaps. Whenever something wasn't "just right" and needed a little tweaking or change, he never complained once and made sure I was completely satisfied with the finished result. Efrain is professional, patient, communicative, and genuinely a pleasure to work with. His crew works efficiently and respectfully, and he goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks right. I highly recommended EC Painting & Home Maintenance for your next renovation project. Five stars!!!
