She is extremely intuitive, she will help you work through what you're feeling and dig deeper to find your own answers within yourself. She is validating, not once have I felt like any of my issues, concerns, or traumas were invalidated or minimized. She is easy to talk to and just crossing the threshold to her office filled me with an overwhelming feeling of safety and support. I've seen therapists before in the past, don't get me wrong, but they either had a tendency to invalidate my feelings or it felt like I was just talking to a friend and not actually making any progress. Nicole isn't like that. She has helped me learn so much about myself in just a short period of time and I am so excited to continue on my mental health journey with her.

I can understand that she may not be the therapist for everyone with her direct, sometimes overly direct approach, but realness and honesty were far more helpful than a shoulder to cry on could have ever been in my case. However, if you are looking to grow, change, look introspectively, and become the person you know you can be, Dr. Macgregor is the therapist for you. For someone to judge her for having a nice home on a lake and being pushy about sessions I feel is unfair. Dr. Macgregor was insistent with me on more sessions, but in the end it was for my benefit.
