There are two main galleries with a quarter mile walk in between, with wonderful views looking out into the lake, families of geese captivating visitors, and lovely artwork along the paved path including a giant gong in the beginning representing the division of war and peace (there's also an option to take a shuttle if you prefer not to walk). Gallery 2 was remarkable starting with the indoor Incorrect Museum exhibition. I can only describe the pieces as weird, comical, unpredictable, and quite intriguing. Some interesting artworks include the Rhino car (covered with random items and made up of two front ends of different cars, plus a rhino head, and actually drivable), the Memory Garden (made up of 4,000 glass bottles, wood, and stone), and the Totem di Rosa, which you can step inside (I even found a bunny in there, lol). Outside, there is a sculpture garden and courtyard with numerous art pieces spaced out really well. Thus, prepare to walk as you explore the various sculptures, including a steel flying dragon, a pile of boats, cute sheep set up on a hill to look real, a quirky looking giant harp, and a very tall chair. There are also picnic tables for guests, in a shady area covered by trees, and picturesque gardens and pathways to stroll through before making your way back to Gallery 1, the gift shop, and parking lot. I had a wonderful time here this past weekend, it was so much more than I expected, and I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some interesting art or even if you're just into peaceful and scenic outdoor environments.

This museum is the personal collection of Rene & Veronica di Rosa. The Good: *Temporary exhibits rotate approximately every four months. *Complimentary umbrellas (more on that later) *A good portion of the exhibits are outdoors along their gorgeous property. *Shuttle if you don't want to or need assistance walking from building to building. *You really have to like weird shit because this place is full of it. Personally, I love it, but if you're more "serious" art person, then this probably won't be your jam. *Picnic tables on the grounds, as you're encouraged to bring food and drink to enjoy in their outdoor area. *Friendly staff The Meh: *General admission of $25 might be a touch high for an art museum. The Ugly: *Be wary when visiting during inclement weather,as there's a large part of this museum that's outdoors. They're a collective of 53 local artists that display all their wares in one shop that's conveniently located along the main drag in DT Napa. They aren't your typical art gallery where the pieces cost more than a car--or a house in some places--as they have pieces of original art in pretty much anyone and everyone's wheelhouse; the prices start as low as $50 and as high as ±$1k, with most pieces being in the less than $500 range. The service is welcoming, not pushy at all, and the mood isn't stuffy as most art galleries tend to be where you need a Black AmEx just to walk in the door. Highly recommended to come check it out, even if you're not currently in the market for art. You just might find something that captures your eye and imagination.

There was so much to see from a jewelry gallery room to an array of artistry. The building dates back to 1915 when it was a distillery. The artist, Jessel was an artist with other creators in this space until she took it over. She showcases her work of course, and local artists. The two gentleman that day were kind and helpful, especially John Roos who's an artist and his work is displayed in the gallery, with a room with his creations.

Acumen offers a good variety of whites, roses and reds, but their signature Cabs are fascinating even compared to the other more prestigious older wineries in Napa. Ten sculptures by seven different artists, with the theme of "play", this is a cool exhibit in…read moreNapa. Apparently, the Napa Art Walk theme changes every couple of years. We visited this past weekend, and it was pretty much like a scavenger hunt, because the pieces are not all located in the exact same area, they are along different streets hidden in gardens and near businesses at random points. But if you have a map, it makes it easier (I included a photo). Most of the pieces are within walking distance to each other, but on a super hot day, we opted to skip a few that were farther out. If you love art, this is a great display of unique and creative artworks, some simpler than others but all created with symbolism. The pieces are made out of diverse materials, from musical strings to bicycle parts, as well as stone, glass, aluminum, and steel.  My favorite sculptures were Time and Awareness, stone artwork that looked almost like a wave, and Wild Flower, a colorful presentation of the Californian poppy made out of bicycle wheels (this one's easy to find, it's right next to Gott's Roadside at Oxbow Public Market). Most of the others are closer to the Riverfront, or 1st and Main. We had fun experiencing the seventh Napa Art Walk exhibition (2021-2023) on a Sunday afternoon, an opportunity to appreciate the talents of diverse artists. We opted for the Principal collection tasting and were pretty impressed. Since it wasn't busy at all (weekday after 4th of July) Matt suggested we taste their acclaimed rosé and enjoy the afternoon at our leisure. Mind you, this is a showroom housing art work while co-hosting this space as Blackbird Vineyard's tasting room. What an awesome idea! Would I be back? Most definitely. As the budget allows, I would probably become a wine member as well. If I had a deeper pocket, I would even purchase artwork from here.
