We were made aware of ALL potential expenses right from the start, therefore, we knew what to expect in regard to payment. It is so unfair and heartless to let me continue in pain after a year when Dr. Candido promised to…read morework with me regarding paying for his service. All I wanted was to understand why he and the secretary on the phone kept saying it was illegal to provide me with the information to either have him paid or be reimbursed. I also wanted to know how was I supposed to submit a claim to my insurance company to get reimbursed for his services if he, or this mystery owner, were claiming it was my responsibility to complete and submit all necessary information on my own if they were refusing to provide the needed information to do so. I don't understand why they would refuse payment in full from the insurance company or allow me to be reimbursed after I paid for his services. Regardless of all that I had paid for the doctor's services by money order to ensure that Dr. Candido was paid for his services. I even had payment in full for the services he was to provide on March 8, when he neither showed up or called to the appointment. I don't understand why "the owner" would force me to see another provider while not even considering allowing Dr. Candido and I to see what could be worked out as he promised. He and the secretary promised to work with me, and she said he would take good care of me. He was exceptionally nice, put me at ease, and patiently explained everything to me. It's been so hard finding providers like that. It's unfortunate when the care is eliminated from healthcare and providers no longer care about patients but how they get their money no matter what the consequences for the patient. Such as refusing to allow me to be reimbursed and paying them in cash or, as I had, by money order. That's just plain heartless and really seems to be the norm rather than rare.
