Cognitively he is slower than he use to be. Navia took the time to walk him through the entire process and answer any questions he had. A few days later when I came to sign the contract, you would have she was a completely different person. Another worker was helping me, but this asst manager kept interrupting the conversation and to the questions I had been asking him. I asked her, "Don't you remember me? I was only here a few days ago." She was exceptionally rude, loud (in front of the poor customer she was helping) and completely disrespectful to me and the employee helping me. My goal was to support her and help furnish her new space with a few meaningful pieces from her former home. I had only two days to accomplish this daunting task. The first day (Sunday) was spent at my friend's former home deciding what to move, followed by a visit to her new residence to determine which items would fit. On Monday, I set out to find movers. After several unsuccessful attempts, I contacted the U-Haul facility on Auburn Way South in Auburn, WA. I spoke with Kenzye, who immediately recognized the urgency of my situation when I explained that my return flight to California was the next morning at 8 a.m.. She referred me to Young Buck Movers, an independent Tacoma-based company, who agreed to take the job the same day. I was amazed and relieved to find movers without any advance notice. All I needed to do was get from my hotel to my friend's house---Young Buck Movers went to U-Haul themselves and completed the necessary paperwork on my behalf. I will be forever grateful to Kenzye for her assistance. I can't say enough about her exceptional customer service. I called right away to ask why my card was charged these extra charges. After getting no where with the first customer service rep I asked to speak with a manager. After over an hour the manager said one charge was due to damage and the other excessive miles. We did neither. She researched and found out indeed it was a mistake on the mileage and said she would be happy to credit us $314. The other charge would have to be disputed. The disputed process is a joke and Uhaul has no intention of cresting the $376 charge. They say the have a picture to prove we did the damage however it is not their practice to share any photos with a customer! After another very long phone call and being rudely interrupted by a Uhaul Manager named "George" my husband and I were out of patience and understanding. We are stuck with a charge that is NOT ours to pay! Take pictures of your entire truck when you pick it up even the top of the truck! Don't pay for extra insurance it does nothing! Take a picture of your odometer at pick up and drop off. UHaul is a dishonest and unworthy company. Don't trust any employee because they all you give you untrustworthy information that customers end up paying for. Very disappointing such an old company is being ran so poorly.

The truck was ready the day before if I wanted to get it early @ "no extra charge". I declined due to logistics. Lovely young lady met me outside as I approached the office (I was 45 minutes early due to past experience with Brands Ry & U-h.) She had the keys and paperwork in hand and took me to the truck for inspection. I was out of there in 15 minutes or less. Again, if you have ever had experience with Brands Ry & U-h, you know you can wait 30 to 60 minuted to get helped and then have to listen to "upsales" for stuff they rent and sell at ridiculous prices. The whole experience with Penzke made my move day less stressful.

Be very careful to review the final charges if you rent from this Budget location. I was…read moreincorrectly charged for refueling, and even when I provided documentation that the truck was returned refueled, they still refused to fully correct the bill. I was quoted an estimated total of $43.07 for a local truck rental, but after returning the truck I was charged $93.34. The charge included 24 miles and 2 gallons of gas, despite only driving 22 miles and returning the truck fueled above the full marker. When I presented my drop-off photos and fuel transaction, instead of simply correcting the bill, they offered a partial correction. They refused to remove the 2-gallon fuel charge and acted like they were doing me a favor only partially overcharging me. If you rent here document everything and do not assume that they will correct the bill willingly.
