I was referred to All Things Transmission by Endurance Warranty. My 2007 SAAB 9-3 Convertable was having transmission problems so first I took it to a transmission shop in Annapolis Maryland who told me they wanted $450 to set up my repair with Endurance. I told them thanks but no thanks. So, I got on the Endurance web page where they referred me to All Things Transmission. At first I was sceptival when they told me the transmission just needed adjustment and a "top off" of transmission fluid. Do not use this dishonest business. Owner hiding from me. They repaired my transmission I paid and purchased an extended warranty. Auto had transmission problems 2-3 weeks later. Marcello claimed a cotter pin failed. Not poor mechanical work. Less than 8 months later transmission failed again. Long story short I was given the old parts on order run around for 2 months. Nissan fixed my auto in 2 days. read more

This was the only transmission shop that would rebuild my transmission 08 FX35 INFINITY. The other shops recommended purchasing a rebuild transmission. This place rebuild my transmission for 4,200 I had to return several times for continuing issues with the transmission. They ran into difficulties when they removed my timing belt. They screwed my car up and sent me elsewhere to repair what they damaged. Now car is worthless with a new bill for engine work totaling 4,200 more. They used me, and shared me. Don't trust them. "RUN, run, run as fast as you can!" I can't believe how this shop operate for starters. Obviously, there's a bait and switch just from the advertisement. The pictures in the ads does not represent the shop. It appears clean, presentable and professional by the posted photos, "NOT!" The place is horribly kept and cars are stacked on top of each other. There doesn't seem to be any sense of organization or professionalism. There is definitely no customer service nor a feeling of compassion for the customer. I took my 1999 Mercedes E320 to this establishment for a transmission issue. They promise to diagnosis the issue within a few days, only to not have it diagnosis in over 2 weeks. They stated it needed a computer and I asked for the parts number in order to get it online. They told me it could not be given because the technician was too busy. After my car was there for 2 weeks, I asked to pick it up. Now all of a sudden, they found time to give me the parts number. The first day I went to pick up my car, it was closed but one of the technicians was still working. He stated, "I have been working here for over a years by himself without any other assistance, pulling 3-4 transmissions a day. The business is always backed up, thats why your car is still here." He aLao told me that he could not release the car, it was up to the owners and they were not here. We tried calling them but they would not return the call. So, I could not retrieve my car. They advertise towing within a certain distance, I live approx. 5.5 miles away, "no assistance. I eventually got in touch with the owner to inform him that I would be picking up my car, this is when he attempted to charge me for the diagnosis. This person who claimed to be the owner, stated , " there will be charge of $115 for the diagnosis. I reminded him of his advertisement pertaining to a free diagnosis and he seemed to be upset and told me to just pick up my car. Great work just got my car back from them today and it runs like it did when it was new!

This is not a reputable company. My vehicle was towed in by a tow truck that was referred to me by ATT. Everything was fine and I was initially very pleased with ATT. The day we picked it up, my husband washed the car. He noticed that the front passenger tire had a large bubble in it. When I looked closer at the tire I noticed that it had a brand new plug right at the point of the bubble and the rim was badly scratched and the plug was too close to the sidewall of the tire. No tire shop would have put a plug in that part of a tire. The rear rim was scratched also. It was very obvious that someone had hit a curb which scraped both rims and burst the tire. The business was closed so the very next morning I called and spoke to Marcello. He told me that he was not aware of it and that any damage to the tire would've been documented on the inspection form that the mechanic completes. He said he would look at that form and call me back. My husband took the car to the shop to show it to Marcello. He stated that there was no indication that the tire was damaged on the form. I told him that I was not making a big deal about it but the tire definitely had to be replaced. I was even willing to accept a good used tire. He told us that the vehicle was not safe to drive with the tire like that. He told my husband to bring the car back the next day to have the tire replaced. When I called the following morning to tell him I was on my way to get the tire, Marcello informed me that the owner would not be paying for it. I told him that my car did not come into the shop with the tire or rims in that condition and the damage clearly happened while it was in their custody. Needless to say, I was very upset. Marcello told me that he did not appreciate the way I was speaking to him. I could not believe he said that to a paying customer whose car they damaged. So I simply said okay and hung up the phone. My husband went back to the shop later that day and they still refused to accept responsibility for the damage they caused. Later that day, the owner called my phone and stated that he had just heard about what happened with the tire and for me to call him and give him the information so he could make a decision in this matter...what! Not...I apologize for this, please let me replace the tire. But Marcello had already told me the the owner said he would not pay for it so what was the point of the call. Why would this company do 1700 dollars worth of work on my transmission then refute damage to one 50 dollar tire (if that much). So now I'm left with having to sue them civilly for both rims and the tire. No good business owner would have treated a customer this way. Do not use this company. read more

The Customer Service is TERRIBLE! I had my car towed there on a Tuesday after discussing with Marcello the issue I know for a fact is wrong with my car because it just left another shop that couldn't perform the work( over heating, a water pump & leaking antifreeze)! I was informed that they would take a look at it the next morning. The next morning comes an goes, an I still hear nothing from them. It wasn't until I decided to call (Thursday Morning) that I finally received an update about my car. I was then told it was 30 cars ahead of mine. (blank stare) I really couldn't afford to get my car towed from place to place so I said okay. Saturday Marcello calls an he informs me about things that the previous shop "possibly did improperly" and that could be causing the leak I didn't even inquire about it, but at this point I am just like fix it ALL please. Parts needed to be ordered which took another 3 days (excluding Sunday). Tuesday evening the parts are "received" near closing an I was informed that the car will be ready Wednesday evening! Wednesday comes and I so happen to have business to take care of on that side of town so I decided to pop up an wait for my car since I was informed it will be ready that day. I called while in route no answer. by this time I knew they have caller id because Marcello has returned my calls before. i get there an Marcello is sitting at his desk, my car is in the parking lot with the hood up( no one around it). I am like: whats up are we almost most done. The look on his face because I popped up was priceless. He began explaining what they were doing (finishing up controlling the leak) He then gets Huffy because I am like well how much long because I'll just wait because it is getting close to closing time, an you are famous for saying tomorrow, he then storms off talking under breath, and comes back with my car key. So now i am confused. you just said the car was bleeding and it would take a few hrs. Any-who I proceed to pay for the work completed and pull off. 3 lights away an the car begins to over heat. I turned right around and took it right back. Now I am furious, because this is the initial reason I brought the car in, in the first place. Marcello comes out like " I told you this was gonna happen we only fixed the other problems an you did not give us a chance to see why it is over heating. I TOLD YOU WHAT THE PROBLEM IS GENIUS! Now I am like you have had the car over a week, how long does it take plus I informed you myself what needed to be done. Now i am irate, but still never cursing nor, elevating my voice. i told him his customer service is TERRIBLE. all this could have been avoided if you just learned to pick up the phone an communicate. You should Hire someone to do it if it is to much for you! Lack of communication is not all right with me, especially if I am a paying customer. Another mechanic then comes out ( Don ) Apologizes an communicates a lot of things that Marcello seemed to have a problem with doing! Ensured me that my car is now his responsibility an he will now keep in contact with me until the job is done. lol! i will be back with an update once I have received my car back! read more

I am always skeptical about taking any of my cars to a mechanic but I really needed some major transmission work done on my 1969 Oldsmobile 442. All Things Transmission has a great Yelp review so I wanted to find out for myself what they were capable of. I know that not many people work on classic cars anymore but I called All Things Transmission hoping they did. I spoke with Marcelo and he told me that they could do what I needed to have done. I told him that I was bringing the car over and he waited, after hours, until I showed up with it. I left the shop feeling like my car was in great hands and they did not disappoint! Marcelo always answered my calls when I had questions and also provided very detailed information as far as my diagnosis. There were some other jobs I wanted done that were outside of the transmission and they took those on and over delivered. I had parts shipped to them and everything was received on time and in one piece. After all of the work was done, I had a chance to meet the mechanic that worked on the car and I could tell that he was truly passionate about the work he does. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with All Things Transmission! I had a chance to meet the owner and his dad who are great people as well. I would 125% recommend this business because they are fair, passionate and genuinely great people. I will bring my cars back to them without any hesitation.
