I had an amazing experience with All Things Boudoir in January 2021. Our shoot was in Columbus, Ohio at an absolutely adorable, chic little AirBnB. My photographer was KT and she was incredible. I am 50 years old, chubby and have never done a boudoir shoot before. I was so anxious, I almost chickened out and canceled a dozen times. Even walking into the place, with my hair and makeup done, I felt absolutely sick with nerves and wanted to cancel. I am SO glad I went through with it. It was one of the most empowering, fun and transformative experiences ever. I felt like a total rockstar by the end of our shoot - KT was just perfect. Talk about a bedside manner! In the beginning I was clutching my robe like a granny and hiding in the shadows. By the end I was like, oh, you want me to stand by the window fully nude for best lighting? No problem! to my husband- "I realize why I'm disappointed in the photos. I just realized it. They are heavily touched up. They don't feel like me because they really aren't." WARNING- Your pictures will be perfect, be sure you want that. For all of those who want REAL go somewhere else. I could not see myself in the photos they were so heavily touched up. I can't help wondering why I wasn't good enough without all the editing I would have preferred a more intimate and personal experience. Instead I feel ATB works hard to create the illusion of that kind of experience but in the end ATB lacks the details and options necessary to make it a personalized intimate experience. I am 48 year olds, I'm proud of my not so perfect body. Seeing my body all touched up to perfection has has a negative effect on my self-esteem. All things Boudoir was amazing from start to finish! My photographer Claire had great communication from the beginning, as well as other various staff that checked in with me. I received about 4 calls in the weeks/days before the shoot to see if I had any questions or concerns, and to make sure I was comfortable and ready. The morning of the shoot I was super nervous, I don't have the perfect body and I'm a little pudgy and it all started to make me really nervous. Was I really going to get Nakey (or close to it) in front of a stranger?? But from the moment I met Claire she started conversing with me and I felt much more comfortable. She's was funny and sweet. We got into the room we were shooting in and I showed her my outfits and my prop (roses and rose petals) she was already set up so she set the tone with music and adjusted the temperature to my liking while I changed. She guided me through posing the entire shoot, nothing is worse then not knowing what to do in front of a camera and being awkward. She didn't let that happen, and I felt like she was putting me in flattering positions and walked me through everything, it really made the shoot fun! She chatted with me through the entire shoot. The piece of mind that came from having a great photographer really made this experience for me! If you're on the fence about a boudoir shoot, just do it!! A couple of summers ago I won a free session and was so happy. I was not impressed with the girl that took my pictures. When I saw my proofs there was maybe 10 out of 100 I liked. I ended up purchasing them anyway for $800. I was supposed to get all proofs and a box with some Prince. Never got them. So I basically paid $800 for 100 digitals. And 10 only I even liked. I did a shoot for all things boudoir in Washington DC with Claire and she was amazing! I felt so comfortable and accepted! I felt so supported snd guided through every idea, pose, and angle. I got more and more comfortable through the shoot and I had fun. It was so fun. And I loved the looks and was so surprised at the angles. I felt great and inspired by her as a photographer in how she carried herself to make me feel comfortable to our conversation in how we were light and laughed to the angles she guided me through and it was so creative! Doing something like this is not something I had ever considered before, but after my divorce I stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to try it. Even though I prepared as much as I could, I was still incredibly anxious when I arrived for my shoot. My photographer, Claire, made me feel completely at ease the whole time. My photographer was AMAZING, what brings this review down so low is the simple fact that bed linens are NOT changed between clients. Even if this wasn't the age of COVID, not having clean sheets, is like sharing a bed with every person who was photographed before! There truly isn't any reason why there isn't a set of sheets for each person photographed. My photographer did at least flip the duvet over, but how many times had it been flipped for show? This isn't a gripe about the photographer, it's a complaint about corporate policy. Also, how much time is actually spend cleaning? My photographer walked her previous client out and took me upstairs. There was not time to clean things down. Once again, a corporate issue, 90 minutes sessions back to back with no time inbetween to clean. read more

After finally getting set up on a monthly payment plan I have had to ask for a reciept or preferably an invoice that show the remaining total for my order (since they've been relentlessly sketchy) and am either ignored completely or given attitude about receipts I "should be getting." read more

The shoot didn't go too bad- however communication is lacking extremely. They were VERY rude to me over the phone when all I was trying to do is refer a friend to their business. Honestly you can get better pictures for MUCH cheaper! This is highway robbery for photos- and for the customer service to be so poor is ridiculous. I've been modeling for years now and have NEVER seen such expensive rates for session or photos. They seem very money hungry on top of being RUDE! Short answer: I LOVED my experience with All Things Boudoir! Kristy was awesome, she was so sweet and very clear and direct without seeming bossy! She was absolutely wonderful and made the whole photo shoot totally enjoyable. I felt like a model and didn't have time to worry about how I looked because she kept us going at a great pace.Took one star off because the experience as a whole is very pricey, even with an online deal. When I bought the deal, I was looking for a candid step-by-step account of what happens, but couldn't find one! So anyone else looking for answers, here's the breakdown: The company is based in Colorado, but they fly photographers out to different cities/location. This experience is based on a photo session in San Jose. I bought the Groupon for a respectable price. It included a 90 minute photo session, 3-4 outfit changes, and two digital images. When you're ready to book, you go to the site and select the city, then select an available date and time from the calendar. In my case, the only days you could book were on the weekend. After you pick a date and time, you fill out a little survey asking some questions. Things like "Why did you decide to do the photo shoot?" and "What part of your body are you most self-conscious about?" After you book, you get an email with more information. For me, it was learning that the shoot would happen in a hotel which, let's be honest, made me a little nervous. I thought they had a studio in San Jose or something. They sent the name of the hotel and the room number. I looked up the hotel and it turned out to be a very swanky one downtown, so I felt better about it after I looked it up. This is also the first time your wallet will take a hit: You bring your own lingerie, and they suggest you buy new. Maybe this is obvious to other people, but for some reason I didn't think that I'd have to buy a ton of new lingerie! Three outfit changes!? Finding a cute bra in my size means paying like $40-$60. Luckily, I realized I had some things in my closet I'd never worn before, so I just added a few new items. You have to do your own hair and makeup before arriving to the photo shoot. I recommend keeping this in mind because you don't want to rush or arrive late. If you are late, you could be flustered or stressed, and you need to come into the shoot as relaxed as possible, especially if you're already nervous about posing in your underwear. I recommend aiming to get to your location at least 15-20 minutes early just so you can relax and touch up in the hall before you begin. I also recommend you put your outfits in a suitcase--you're going to a hotel, so it looks totally normal! I walked in to the hotel and felt weird about just going up (I also didn't know if maybe I needed a room card to use the elevator) so I just told the front desk that I was there for a photo shoot and gave them the room number. Kristy opened the door exactly on time, which made me happy. She knew my name already and had me empty my bag to show her what I had (she also was very flattering and paid me some compliments, which is a great way to start the shoot), then we put together the outfits together and decided which to start with, and she left so I could change in the bathroom. I came out, and she immediately started directing me. Like I said, she was very direct and great at guiding me into poses, and she even got on the bed and showed me exactly what she wanted me to do, which made it even easier. She also wasn't afraid to grab my arm or shape my hair where she wanted it to go. She did a wonderful job thinking of the entire shot and making me look my best, I seriously loved every photo! After the shoot, you sit down with your photographer and she goes over the photo options and that's when I first saw the tip jar! I felt stupid for not thinking of it ahead of time, it was never mentioned in any of the emails. Luckily, they take a card, so you can tip that way. After, you schedule your photo reveal about 10 days later (so they can retouch all the photos). You get a call and your representative (for me it was Kristy) go though all the images, getting down to whatever number of photos you want. I decided to do the $200 for 4 additional digital images to the original 2 free ones that came with my online deal. Pricey! I'd have liked it better if they came with a print in the mail as well, but I did it because Kristy was wonderful and the photo editor had to do all 150+ images, so I felt obligated. Overall, a $30 online deal turned into a $400-$500 experience. Yeah, it was a lot of fun and I loved all my photos, but the cost left a sour taste in my mouth. I feel they should only retouch 10 "best" photos to show what it will look like, then show all the photos and let the client pick their final images and retouch any additional ones instead of doing them all, it's a waste. They should also offer unretouched photos, I have a friend who would do it free. read more

I've struggled my whole life to love my body. Ever since grade school, I've been on diets, counted calories, and frankly just worried about how I looked (even though I was always on the tom-boy end of the spectrum, never wearing make-up or overtly being "sexy"). But a friend had boudoir shots taken with ATB, and after seeing her results, all I could think was, "I want to see myself that way." My experience with ATB was amazing from start to finish. Booking an appointment in San Jose, California, was a cakewalk, they were super responsive to my questions (of which I had a few that were well...embarrassing), and then on the day of, Tamara, the photographer, listened to what I had to say, gave great direction, made me laugh (and laughed with me) and lots of ideas/suggestions. To say I was impressed would be to be putting it mildly. I just saw my photos, and purchased their Memory Box option (one day I'll have a fiance and I'll give him a CD with Fall Out Boy's Thanks for the Memories and that one big song from Cats or whatever) and while it was still hard to love my body in the moment, I keep looking at my digital print and thinking, "Wow." This was my second boudoir photo shoot experience. First experience with ATB though. It was a Groupon gift from my boyfriend. I am located in San Jose, CA. The photo session and overall experience is worth way more that the cost of the Groupon. I had a change of five outfits if you include nude. Ha! Kristy, my photographer, was easy going, fun spirited, professional, and skilled. I am not the kind of person who shows a lot of skin in my real life. She put me at ease right away. She help guide me thru poses that are flattering and produce fun, sexy, spirited photos. She made it easy to feel free moving and attractive. Bring a good selection of lingerie to choose from. I agree with the previous post. Come early so you are not rushed and sweaty for finding the hotel location, parking and navigating thru the hotel. Do give some consideration on what you wanna show off. Kristy made sure we got good shots of my hair and bottom. The photo reveal was done over the phone and online. I had two reviews due to a change in plan for my photo album. There is a lot of work involved in a photo reveal so for a second round there is a small fee. There is a fee for any additional Photoshopping if requested as well. Word of advice to avoid photo disappointments - removal all price tags from the bottom of your shoes! Save yourself the trouble. The photos were stunning and I couldn't believe that was me. I opted for a large package as these are memories to look back on when I am old and grey, or shall I say more grey than now. Never too late to consider a photo shoot for your significant other or just for you! It was such a positive experience that I purchased two gift packages for friends who are in need of a little positive fun. I would seriously consider a repeat session a few years from now. This is an amazing experience. I am a plus-sized woman in her 50s and my expectations were exceeded in so many ways. I had my photo shoot in Albuquerque at a beautiful loft in the city. My photographer paid close attention to what I wanted and which parts of my body I was comfortable showing off. She was so experienced in posing a woman's body to it's best appearance. I purchased a photo book and am so happy with everything. I enjoyed it so much I purchased a shoot for my sister. It took me several months to make an appointment with these folks - they are busy.I will say that once I did schedule it, they were organized and thorough with reminders about my appointment and how to prep. I haven't received my photos yet, and will leave additional feedback when I do, so this review is simply about the experience itself. My first issue is one of scheduling: they are obviously so focused on cranking clients in and out, they leave no wiggle room what so ever, which leaves the client feeling rushed and impinged upon. I scheduled a make-up artist to do my make-up before my shoot, and was told to get there at 10:30am for my 11am shoot. I arrived at 10:34am, because the place is a little difficult to find. When I was let in, there was someone else there having her shoot done - she was in lingerie, in the middle of it. If I was her, I would have been SO angry to have been interrupted by a stranger in the middle of something so private. They did whisk me in to another "room" which was actually the kitchen, right there in the same room, with no door or walls - just curtains, so I could hear the shoot happening right there. I felt awful to be invading her time. The same things happened to me when my shoot finished, although they were kind enough not to let them in. A couple knocked on the door while I was still in my get-up shooting - they were asked to wait in the hall (which for them would have been uncomfortable, because it is a dark hall with no seating).My appointment ended at 12:30 (and theirs obviously begun right at 12:30 - who DOES this?!) and I had to rush to get changed and get out of there to let them in. The second issue is one of simple customer care and service. The make-up artist was lovely - she did a good job. But the atmosphere was terrible! I was literally in a tiny kitchen on a stool with terrible lighting, and microwaves and fridges and cups and mess all around. I asked for water, and they didn't have any. She said they could get some for me from the bathroom in a mug. There was a keurig there, but no one offered me coffee or anything to drink until I asked, and it was obvious that was not included or thought of. I was a bit shocked - part of getting someone prepped for a shoot like this is making them feel comfortable - it would not be hard to provide Costco bottled water for clients (and I discovered later that the shoot is a workout- you need to drink!) and cheap mimosas. Give clients a comfortable chair to have their hair and make-up done in,in a room that is private, and give the artists doing them light to do a good job! My final issue is one of cleanliness: because they are rushing people in and out of here, there was obviously no time to clean or vacuum things. You are literally lying mostly naked on beds and chairs and floors, and someone right before you was doing the same thing. There was no quick vacuum or bedding changes before my shoot, because I was there the entire time when the other girl left. That kind of grossed me out. A simple sheet change or vacuum would be easy to do. The lounge chair was dirty, and there was hair on the bed. Again - back to scheduling. Give yourself 30 minutes of padding in between clients - time to clean, change, whatever so folks don't overlap, especially with something so private! Finally, I WOULD like to say that my photographer, Katie, was LOVELY. She did such a great job of making me feel comfortable and sexy, and I am really looking forward to seeing the photos. It is not her fault, or the make-up artists fault, that management obviously doesn't have much regard for client comfort or customer care. Update to my review- I am VERY happy with the photos and the quality of book I received- they are amazing!! So, I'm bumping them up a star- all they need to do is get a handle on the customer experience and they would have five. read more

I wanna first say that I was expecting more. I understand that they shoot in different location but my location was a townhouse. I was very disappointed because the carpet was an awful tan color and the decor was very basic. My intuition told me to say something but I decided to go with the flow since it was already planned. The photographer was friendly but I wish I would have had a little bit more of guidance on what to do with my face. Many of my photos looked like I was angry and not sexy. After your photo shoot you schedule a photo reveal and view your photos online. The photo reveal was challenging because of the to the watermark that was on the every photo. You can't catch all the good details and aren't able to get a look at the whole picture. You get two standard digital if you go with the basic and $50 for each additional photos.I did not end up liking the photos I originally chose because of several details. For example outlets , my hair and jewelry out of place , and carpet . These details were important to me because I wanted to use this to build my modeling profile. I've communicated my concerns and am hoping they can allow me to get photos I actually like. If anything changes I will update this review ! But so far I would encourage you to go somewhere else that offers a package of photos and has a nice professional studio! read more

We gave this as a gift to my Mom and everything went well as far setting up an appointment and speaking to a manager. The day before, we received a confirmation email and we were set. The morning of the shoot, my mom went to get her nails, hair, & makeup professionally done and we were waiting outside at our appointment time. However, it was closed. So I texted the photographer, but to our luck, no response. So then, I called her & it said the phone number was no longer in service. We checked back to emails, and at 9:22am, we received a cancellation email due to an inclement weather flight delay. Although I understand the safety of everyone involved, it was absolutely unacceptable to cancel the morning of, through email, and not a phone call or text, especially since I've had previous communication with the photographer through text. It was a waste of money because I cannot get a refund, only a rescheduling. This does not make up for the money my mother spent on nails, hair, and makeup which she will now have to pay again IF she decides to go ahead with rescheduling. I'm incredibly disappointed in the way this was handled, because I was emailing with the manager and she said "I apologize you just noticed the email. I sent an email out to everyone yesterday afternoon and called every client yesterday as well I was unable to get in contact with you so I sent a follow up email this morning." I received NO calls nor did I receive an email the day before. All I received was the confirmation email. I'm not sure how to go about this situation now, for I already paid for the service but don't feel it's fair for my mom to pay for everything again. read more

I decided to do a shoot for my husband's birthday. I called to ask a few questions, had to leave a message but my call was returned promptly. I booked the shoot and had more fun than I could have imagined. I've had some experience with shoots, just not a boudoir shoot. But knew what to expect, mostly. It was a classy & sexy experience. Kristy was my photographer. I was her last shoot of the day of back to back shoots. It was a rainy day, not my favorite...but we hit it off right away. Once you get there and chill, (I wore my hot rollers to the shoot,) she made me feel extremely comfortable & explained everything in detail. I had some ideas on a few pics so we looked over what I brought for the shoot. After we talked a bit, she had some ideas, too. Her ideas were better! She is the pro, after all and she really knows how to work you and the camera. And, while she was an absolute and utmost professional, she was, also, extremely cool, fun & engaging with a great sense of humor and has an amazing "bedside" manner. (Ha!) From booking to the shoot, I was taken care of. All of these ladies are extremely professional. I would recommend to anyone and would do it again. In fact, it felt like it was more of a treat for me. Okay so first things first, I loved all of the staff of this company. Everyone who I came into contact with were nice and helpful. I think it's pretty cool how the photoshoots happened in a really nice hotel suite, it set wonderful backdrop for the images and I was super pleased about that. Kristina was my photographer and she was super easy to get along with, she had great pose suggestions that made me feel confident and sexy and I think really translated into my pictures. We were having so much fun that the 90 minute photoshoot really flew by in no time at all. My only gripe with this company is from the groupon deal that I purchased it took a bit digging through other yelp reviews to really find out that if I wanted any images from this photoshoot outside the groupon deal, that I'd be spending roughly $250-$500. Overall though, I loved this experience and the product that this company produced, they made me feel beautiful and I will definitely do boudoir again in the future. read more

I was so nervous when I got there but her demeanor was calm and she explained everything and made me feel at ease. During the shoot she gave good direction and made me feel beautiful and sexy. I LOVE ALL THINGS BOUDOIR! This isn't my first boudair photo experience. With All Things Boudoir, I loved the entire experience. Lynette (my photographer) LOVE HER! She made the shoot so much fun. We both had a great time. My boyfriend commented that I looked relaxed and like I was having a really good time in the photos. And he LOVES THEM! Since this wasn't my first time (and my first time wasn't very good. Odd feel from the photographer and no good photos) I knew what I wanted and how I wanted it. I brought a ton of outfits and Lynette was amazing in deciding what to wear and what poses for each outfit. I also brought in a number of photos of poses that I wanted (yes I did that with the other photographer yet he didn't do them). Lynette was awesome about my ideas and made them happen. She didn't have the "I'm the photographer and this is my work" attitude. She fit in everything I wanted. I don't know how she did. About a week and a half later , I got to view my photos with Tamara after she expertly touched them up. They are GORGEOUS! I'm no model but there was no a bad photo. There was so many to choose from it was hard not picking them all. My photos make me feel beautiful and sexy. My boyfriend while viewing them asked about me doing it again. Both Lynette and Tamara are amazing and fun. If you've thought about it and are a little shy give them a call and talk to them - I bet you schedule a shoot. And if you aren't shy- schedule one today. I had my photo shoot done by Kristy in Denver and she was an absolute badass! Walking in not knowing what I was doing, what looked good, & how on earth to hold a serious, much less, sultry look on my face, Kristy was amazing. From constant encouraging compliments, an extremely comfortable & fun vibe, & the innate ability to race through so many poses & ideas while capturing images I didn't even know were possible, it was an absolutely great experience. On a serious note, after getting up the courage to do this shoot, taking a "well, we're here, why not go for it" attitude, & seeing my photos for the first time, I would 100% recommend this opportunity to every woman.
