I had a cheeseburger and fries and the fries were seasoned really good. I used the restroom and it was clean. I decided to venture in and experience real southern food first hand. First, this is first come first serve honor system type of restaurant. Don't wait for the host to sit you because there don't have one. Second, grab the menu of the day and check the items that you want to eat. Third, give the selected menu items to the waitress and wait for the goodness to arrive. The food is good and you can tell it is real true southern food. The chicken was moist and the mac and cheese was cheesy. They have real southern sweet tea. If you are in the area and deciding to eat between a chain restaurant or a local restaurant? Choose the local flavor for sure. The restaurant had lots of windows so it is bright and fast paced.

First time visiting NCR while coming to Swainsboro to support my Mom on a new adventure…read more Upon entering their establishment, they were very welcoming and appears to have rooted themselves in the community as the locals knew them well. There was a customer who one of the cooks knew well since she asked about a guy. On a food, the previous reviews on the food being good is definitely 5 stars. My family pretty much all went for the rice dinners with wings but some of them did get veggies. Everything was hot and cooked well. I would highly recommend NCR. If there is something I would recommend them iterate is the Rice with Wings large dinner comes with 3 wings and I ordered an addtl wing for $1. I would recommend they say 2 drumlettes and a wing instead of saying wings as I thought it was an entire wing which I associate with a drum, wing together. Anyway still great location and if I'm ever here again they'll always get my business.

This is just an average China Buffet with your average buffet layout. General Tso chicken is OK but…read morea strong soy taste that could grow on you but in no way spicy (and it should be). The Sesame chicken has that the same strong soy flavor and the Coco shrimp is actually good but not as good as the New China buffet in Macon. So here is my dislikes: with the saucy chicken dishes on the buffet, too much of the syrupy sauce makes the chicken pieces loose their crunch from being fried and that's just a shame! The hot/sour soup was just awful and what is French toast doing on the lunch buffet?
