I was a past patient at this facility in Hemet for physical therapy after TWO knee replacements, in 2017 and 2021, both cash pay with excellent Physical Therapists and front office staff. Wow, things have really changed here. I called July 29, Aug. 7, Aug. 8, Aug. 15 with questions to see a therapist again, cash pay. Office staff at this specific office instructed me twice to leave a voicemail for the office manager (?). I never received a response. I went to the office today in person and explained my situation, including how I never heard back from Ms. Sprinkles. The receptionist told me she does not come into the office. I stated that I didn't mind that, but I never received a call back to answer my questions, etc. She repeated herself and stated, "I SAID......! Do you want me to make you an appt.?" I said I was confused about the lack of a call back and what it had to do with her not physically being in the office. She repeated herself again, getting a little more annoyed at having to do that. I asked what Ms. Sprinkles not being there in person had to do with responding to my voicemail, for the third time and whether she no longer worked for the company. She said she doesn't ever respond to voicemails because she is not physically there. I asked why I was instructed to leave those messages then. She stated, "Do you WANT to make an appt.?" Didn't ask if she could answer questions about the office or therapists. Nothing. Just said, "I am just the receptionist." So, her only job is to sit at the front desk, answer the phone and make appts.? Wow, that is some customer service! I said it seemed like the office didn't want my business. No response. So, I'm going elsewhere and would be remiss if I didn't share this fall from grace. So sad.

I had an outside specialist was involved in the beginning when I started with the desert pain institute and the treatment was taken over by the desert pain institute. I have been on this treatment regimen since 2015. Fast forward to 2025, in the last year I have actively asked about other treatments for my condition and i have been given no alternatives. They seem to want to prescribe opioids which they know has not worked well in the past for my chronic pain and it doesnt work now either! Last month they sent my prescription wrong THREE times and I was not able get my medication from the pharmacy. Lifekind taking me off the medication cold turkey with no tapering off had a big effect on my mental health and now over a month later my chronic pain is at a very high level now I'm having a hard time living this way. They say on their website: "Whole-person care for people living with chronic pain" but this is not the case. I have found them to be very unprofessional, I'm with a different doctor every visit, my prescriptions are almost always sent wrong or not sent at all. They shouldn't be allowed to operate like this!
