(It's a long story why I didn't in high school) My husband was great about taking me places, but we had to consider things like emergencies and what if he couldn't go? It took a couple years, but I screwed my courage to the sticking point and started calling schools. Naturally, I was concerned since I am quite a bit older than the average student and eliminated a couple places simply because they didn't seem to go outside the adolescent market. We decided to give Missouri Driving a try and completely lucked out! My instructor, Donna, was wonderfully patient with me and my nerves, encouraging when I faltered, and knew when to give me that last little push to get me into the testing facility. She was an excellent teacher and kept her cool when I goofed (unlike the hubby who near-panicked the one time and could only yell excitedly without explaining *why* until later. Which is why I got a professional to teach me). She focused a lot on what was required for the test, but was not limited to that alone. And here I am--finally a licensed driver! I know Donna covers a lot of West County and some of South County; I highly recommend asking for her if you live there.

He then continued to buzz around other cars in an offensive manner. I saw that it was a car displaying a sign for "Missouri Driving School". He has no business teaching people how to drive.

After a particularly tenuous "mom lesson" and an unsuccessful attempt at explaining how to parallel park, I panicked that I had not, in fact, taught him enough to pass. I frantically started contacting local driving schools, knowing my chances were slim with such short notice. Everyone I came across online was booked out 2-3 weeks. Then the magic of my algorithm brought Jungle Driving to my attention. I reached out and what do you know? They had availability. I was able to schedule 3 1-hr sessions over the course of the week before his exam. Each lesson, we received a de-brief discussing what he did well on and what he needed to keep an eye on. My son has learned to parallel park and has a better confidence for the details that I hadn't thought of. The price was reasonable and they were very flexible. I wish I'd found them sooner. Thank you!!
