We'll start off with saying that guests obviously pay attention to the dancefloor more than any other responsibility a DJ might have. We have had MANY conversations with our wedding guests where they bring up the DJ saying things like "oh yeah and the DJ was amazing!" or "How did he just keep playing great song after great song!?" so that is OBVIOUSLY what you want to hear about from your guests afterwards as one of their favorite things because the dance floor is a big part of the fun! All that being said, we knew we made the right decision when we were able to have multiple meetings with him leading up to our wedding. He did a great job in those meetings leading us in a way we were comfortable when we did not have all the answers for how we wanted our wedding day to go. It was clear he's done this hundreds of times, so he guided us through our decisions where we needed them on things we didn't even think about like what music to play during reception and dinner. On the day of the wedding, we were blown away. My wife and I just didn't realize leading up how big of a role the DJ may play in our wedding (outside of the dancefoor). David did a great job with all of his announcements for dances and speeches and of course for all the ceremony music as well. As for when it came to dancing from the bride and groom point of view: it was expected that he would get to all of the songs we listed as "must plays" but we obviously were not sure how he would mix around those. He absolutely killed it! He did an amazing job keeping people on the dance floor and playing other songs that people loved to hear that fit in with our provided set list!
