My Experience With Cushing Automotive in Cushing, Texas…read more I want to share my recent experience with Cushing Automotive in Cushing, Texas, so others can make an informed decision. I took my 2017 Tahoe there to have the A/C repaired. The next day, I was told the condenser was bad and that it would cost approximately $1,000 to repair. I was told it would be ready Friday. I picked it up Friday at closing after they called and said it was ready. On the way home, I realized the A/C still wasn't cooling properly. I tried calling Monday, but couldn't get anyone to answer. I went back Tuesday and was told I would need to leave the Tahoe. I dropped it off Wednesday. Thursday, I was called and told there was nothing wrong with the A/C. I picked it up, but the problem continued. I brought it back the following Tuesday because it was still blowing hot air. At that point, I was told the HVAC box was bad and that replacing it would cost approximately $6,500. I was also charged a $126 diagnostic fee. Today, I took my Tahoe to NAPA in Henderson for another opinion. They repaired the A/C and I was also informed that 1.2 pounds of additional Freon had been put into the system, this likely caused damage to the compressor. I am extremely disappointed that I was first charged around $1,000 for a repair that did not fix the problem, then told I needed a $6,500 repair, when another shop was able to fix the A/C for just over 1k. I went back today to see if Cushing Automotive would make things right. Evan did refund the $126 diagnostic fee, but he refused to pay for the damage and additional expenses caused by his incorrect repair. I was also informed today that Jason is no longer the owner of the establishment and that Evan is now taking over. I want to make that distinction because this review is about my experience with the service I received from Evan. What makes this especially disappointing is that I have used Jason before and had a completely different experience. The quality of work Jason provided was good, and I trusted that the job was done right. The quality of work I received from Evan was not the same. I am sharing this experience because I believe customers deserve to know what happened before deciding where to take their vehicles.

Every time I've had work done, it has been done professionally, at a good price, and in a timely manner. One time, my AC on my pickup quit blowing, and Jason looked at it, determined that is was a bad vacuum hose, and fixed it ON THE SPOT. Now, that's great service.

The facilities are up to date and I'm very impressed with their inventory selection. I came here to get my Avalon serviced and they were very helpful and the prices for service are very fair, it was $24.95 for my 3 month oil change (using their online coupon). My car was in and out in about a half hour and there was a very nice waiting area, where I was able to charge my phone, get a free snack, and just relax. I have owned my own store and have been involved in the auto industry for over 15 years and I can say that I have great confidence in this dealership's future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a car.

I got the interior detail with the wash and wax add on, Dean and René did an amazing job working for around 6 hours! They are extremely detailed in their work and even did a lot of extra things for no charge, Dean is very nice and down to earth, he is honest and will explain the process as he works. His pricing is more than fair as well, being pretty much half the price of other businesses you'll see on Yelp. Seriously, look no further, this is your guy.

I never received a call back, call was in shop from 8am-2pm and received a call informing car is ready for pick up and has been fixed. I never asked for my car to be worked on as to why I had ask for a call to be made to me first so I atleast have a quote of what I'll be charged for repair. Instead I was hit with a price that is not fair as there was no parts being changed on my vehicle. According to the mechanic he cleaned a pipe that was clogged and that was it. Im being charged $180 with no advice upfront before hand. Very unprofessional and also mechanic decided to hang up the call when I was questioning why the charge is so high. Will never do business here again and will make sure I let my friends and family know.
