He even gave himself a 5 star review which is in violation with google's terms and conditions and is a conflict of interest. He knowingly sells broken video games and he blatantly lies and tells them "oh if you would have brought it to my attention I would have replaced it." People HAVE brought back broken systems and he tells them basically to get bent. He's running a legitimate scam giving himself 5 star reviews and having his girlfriend give him 5 star reviews just to offset and bury the 1 star reviews.

They had a 900$ sticker on a graded copy so I figured they might offer 40% minus maybe 10% to Pay for grading services. Tough to let go but it's better to let it find its way to someone who would have it graded or just genuinely enjoy adding it to a collection...right? YEAH RIGHT! Dude offered me 12% of what he intended to charge a buyer and then after I told him I had just seen the same one a week ago with a 900$ tag he says "that was a while ago. I sold it and that's definitely not the price now anyway. It's gone way down becau......" So I'm just gonna say that over the past 2 years I've been in and out of there about 10 times now and it's an over priced, unprofessional (which has been entertaining) haphazard ramshackle den of a comic book store. It does look like someone built a couple walls in their parents garage and tried to make a store out it but only to give the illusion/delusion that it's a respectable competent business. If you decide to visit this coffin sized wastepaper bin and your less then satisfied then nothing. Your out of luck. (they have moved since then) to snag some free comic books on Free Comic Book Day. I've been coming back ever since! My son loves to collect Star Wars action figures. I am also a child, so I love to browse and buy the occasional trinket or toy. The old location was a little small and tucked away in a relatively crowded strip mall on the bustling intersection of Hall Rd and Hayes. The drive there was frustrating enough to limit my appearances there. They have since moved to a new location...terrifyingly close by. Now it's super convenient to visit the new store. The strip mall they moved to is much less busy and the location is way easier to spot from Van Dyke. The interior of the store is jam packed with lots of collectibles. They have a variety of wrestling, GI Joe, Star Wars and Funko Pops to name a few things. There's so much more there too (like superhero themed comic books). With as much stuff as Funky Town Toys has, the inside of the store is quite clean and spacious. It's always a pleasure to walk around and look at all of the potential money I can spend on stuff! If you're into old and new action figures and collectibles, you should take a stroll into Funky Town Toys. There's lots to choose from...and if you're looking for something in particular...just ask and they will talk with you...and maybe they can find something for you. Seriously...I love this place. There are more gaming tables and restrooms available. The staff are friendly, professional, and available to answer your questions. I advised the elderly saleswoman that I was really into frankincense & myrrh incense and I wanted something really special. This kind woman walked me through all of their incense products and helped me select Gloria incense. This incense is EXTREMELY fragrant, but definitely not overpowering or unpleasant. It's basically frankincense & myrrh pure incense granules with a touch of cinnamon & floral elements . It wasn't cheap, but I love it. And it only takes a tiny pinch to make the whole house smell amazing. Check this place out, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by their inventory.
