Each time, I have been astounded at what has been accomplished above and beyond what the insurance company first offered me. Our appointments were always kept and on time. We were in touch often with the ongoing process. They met with our insurance adjuster to discuss the damage and continued to negotiate for us. We did not have to pay anything to Maple Leaf until we received our insurance company's check. Communication was easy and calls always answered. I will not remove my review because everything I said here it true. I DID NOT SPEAK TO ANYONE ABOUT THE ITEMS I SENT FOR REVIEW UNTIL AFTER I WANTED A REFUND and even then just spoke to the lady who cancelled the appointment and told her my situation and if they were rescheduling me then I didn't need their services anymore as I needed to make a move that afternoon. When I sent the email in the beginning with my information and asking for advice I was emailed back with how pricing went and I immediately paid what they were asking to even get on the schedule. Most lawyers do not take a consultation fee and if they do it goes towards their consultation. Again, spoke to no one about anything I needed until a requested a refund. Then the lawyer going to call and leave a message after he had someone call to reschedule about how he reviewed everything. I needed you that afternoon. I didn't need your services anymore after you called to reschedule.

This company is the financial manager of my condo association. While they are prompt and…read moreknowledgeable, they are operating using twentieth century technology while all others accounting firms use far more advanced 21st century services. For example, I cannot access my personal account with the condo association on-line. Further, I cannot pay my quarterly fees or other charges using electronic payment, either with a credit card or direct charge from my personal checking account. I believe this is the only service provider I have who hasn't moved to electronic payment. It is time for them to make some investment in technology. As the prior reviewer noted, they are very dependent on a few people. Workforce or office disruption would result in operational disruption. If the firm doesn't advance to the 21st Century quickly, it will be time to look for a new provider.

This bookkeeping firm has kept our HOA's books for thirty years. The last time I asked, perhaps a…read moreyear ago, they did the bookkeeping for over 100 other associations in the greater Naples area. This gives Steve Hart, the principal, great insight into what various goods and services associations typically purchase cost. His prices are reasonable and his service is great. When I was first elected president of the Villa Mare HOA ten years ago, I greatly appreciated his knowledge of what had happened over the previous twenty years, plus the fact that he had the last eight years of accounting records on his laptop. My greatest concern recently was that there was no one in his firm with his deep knowledge of his clients. He too was concerned about this, and so has been training a potential replacement, Dolly Smith. She accompanied him to budget workshops for a couple of years and now has the knowledge to lead them. This is a great resource for any HOA, but especially for those who have relatively inactive boards or boards with high rates of turnover.
