A great place to buy cheap carpets from. Quality of carpets are pretty good and you can also…read morepurchase laminate/wooden flooring from here. I have to admit when walking into this shop for the first time, it did look like a tip and the appearance in one half of the shop was not great. Especially as this is a carpet shop, you would expect the cleanliness and appearance to be first-class. I didn't get that impression when walking into the shop. But the other half of the store that had all the carpets was in much better condition. There were a number of different carpets in terms of designs and colours. I have to say the carpets on sale here are for sure affordable and not too expensive. The staff are OK but I still think Britannia Carpets could do with being refurbished. Just by entering the store, people could so easily be put off and I would understand.

You could say they sell a bit everything you need for your home. The shop is filled with all of these products and the prices vary but generally they are good. I didn't really like their selection of carpets as I thought they looked quiet old. They don't do fittings either, which is shame! On the other hand they did have some very nice furniture that can be delivered. I really liked their selection of bathroom furniture because they had some modern styles and old styles that had been re-invented, genius! The staff were friendly and from the way they were talking about the products (that I asked them about) I could tell they have a good knowledge of them. If you're looking for some new furniture or flooring then you might not be disappointed if you come here.

However, I have only bought carpet from here but they have supplied and fitted all the carpets in my house. The prices are very competitive and the service is excellent. Recently I needed to carpet a very small room and I visited Kiddiminster Carpets as I knew they would be the people for the job. They advised that with the size of the room a remnant would probably be suitable. I was shown into a warehouse next to the showroom where roles and roles of large, leftover pieces of carpet are kept. The chap cheerfully and helpfully rolled out the carpets we were interested in so we could pick something suitable in colour and of the right size. Booking in fitting in was stress free and all the carpets have been fitted perfectly. Highly recommend.

They also specialise in other types of flooring such as vinyl and laminates. They have a nice selection of rugs too, some of which were very tempting! It was quite quiet when I went in and there were not much staff, although the man I did see was very polite and professional and did ask me if I needed any assistance. The prices were moderate, but I have been to more expensive places in Birmingham so this place may be considered a little cheaper. Overall, it is a good place if you are thinking about getting a new floor or carpet put down.
Dunelm Mill is a great shop to go to if you are setting up home or wanting to just go for a nose…read more It sells lots of items from cushions, pictures, mirrors, bathroom accessories and towels and kitchen accessories all at great prices and great quality too. They also sell duvet's, pillows and duvet covers and they have a huge range all at very good prices.
