They are disciplined people who actually inspire others to walk with them in holiness, with the Church on our way to the Terrible Day [ref. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the Resurrection of the Dead - Our Human Bodies in their 'glorified state' - facing, individually vis-à-vis Jesus Christ: Rex tremendae, Lacrymosa, Libera me and the famous "Dies irae." Chorus that carry the composition with a definitely terrifying and somehow just in the sense of knowing things will be set right or the definition of justice and mercy is perfect as all is according to God. Jesus, Juste Judex, is the High Priest and Judge on that day when we better be ready. The amplitude of the "Dies irae" as the main choral refrain and appear from beginning of lyrics of the definitive recording of the live concert-style music with the final "Libera me" sung by Soprano Alessandra Marc, under the baton of Maestro Barenboim with the CSO in 1990 or 1993, I don't remember. This is a musical composition that would be impossible under the current liturgical horrors in Churches where the New Mass is celebrated and in pernicious habitats for priests such as seminaries, I feel confident in the traditional formation that these priests receive; because, don't delude yourself, the new masses in these transmogrified churches don't resemble anything like that of a Jewish liturgy that is the basic form of the Catholic Mass and which the Roman Rite of and pre-annum "Missale Romanum" of 1962 that this liturgy obviously has historically fulfilled the Sacrifice of Christ by doing the rituals He taught to remember Him. These priests are very kind and nobody will judge you...only Jesus in the confessional, where his judgment is basically always forgiveness and it's humbling to confess. Anyway, the faithful who attend are sincere and the commitment to the traditional spirituality overall and it demonstrates a better understanding of Dogma and doctrine that they hand on to their children who approach the Faith with an understanding both practical and intellectually astute, and a sort of sense of joy as a family they inevitably exude. You can interact and take part in as little or as much as you want or are able to. I just do not like the New Mass and I think Christ is not pleased with the Church even though we were told by Mary that such things would come to pass in the End day. In a hurry? Actually, my cousin attends and I knew it was a nice welcoming place. As soon as you walk in, it just felt loving. People were smiling, greeting one another. And being that it is BHM, everyone was dressed in African attire. So pretty! We(my daughter and I) arrived early, so the praise team began their mic check as we grabbed really good seats on the main floor of the church. The church filled up FAST. And it was a packed house!! Wow! Everyone was so kind! People danced in the isles and sang along together and it was really beautiful. I was excited to see a full band with HORNS!!!!! The brass was in the place making beautiful music! Wow, they have a tight band! I am a lover of music. I can hold a note:) And I was very happy to hear such wonderful sounds in this church house! The preaching was funny, relatable and thought-provoking. The preacher was thoughtful and spoke well. He didn't scream and yell. His life applicable examples were helpful and understandable. You could really FEEL THE LOVE IN THE PLACE. As a total stranger, I didn't feel out of place, weird or even left out. It was truly a God filled service with good singing and dancing and music and preaching and WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! I was very happy this was the church I decided to visit on Sunday. If you live in the South Suburban area (Matteson, IL), I encourage you to give this place of worship a visit. What a great way to start my week!

I took some kids to the park, and the security guard glared at us, causing one 5 year old little girl to cry, this after being refused access to their bathroom. I saw the pastor a few days later, he told me that the bathroom was cleaned already for Sunday and they didn't appreciate my asking kids to use it because it would have messed up the bathroom. Guess the pastor isn't familiar with the story of Mary and Martha. He then told me to make arrangements with their session next time I want to take kids to the park which sign says is open for all, seemingly forgetting about Jesus saying "bring the children to me." Terrible church that seemingly doesn't follow the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

The Priests here know the faith and are not "push overs" for people who want to be more liberal in the way the Mass is celebrated. I attend the Latin Tridentine Mass here and the people who attend that Mass are very warm. The Mass is also celebrated at times as Ad Orientum which is refreshing for a Novus Ordo Mass. I don't live in this Parish but I travel to get here so that I can assist at a reverent Mass. So if you want true Tradition and reverence in a Mass, this is the place for you. God bless the Priests in this Church! Update: There is a new pastor at this parish. He does not know how to say the Latin Mass. He doesn't even help distribute holy communion because he does not know the Latin prayer to say during the distribution to each person. The only Mass given Ad Orientem is the Latin Mass. None of the other Masses are given ad orientem. I feel this parish is going backwards in terms of the way the Masses are given/said. There are no altar boys for the Latin Mass but it is in the works for some boys to be trained to serve on the altar at the Latin Mass. It's a good thing there is at least one priest who just learned the Latin Mass and he hopes to get better at saying the Latin Mass. So please pray for Fr. Matthew.

I was very disappointed…read more Also, I have to say that I was appalled that the two priest who presided over this funeral mass NEVER had a face mask on. The deceased died from Covid and was cremated before the services. Once he went in the hospital his loved ones never saw him alive again. He was in the hospital approximately 2 weeks. This catholic church told them they could not have a eulogy for him. I found this heartbreaking for everyone. The family, loved ones, extended family and friends needed to hear a eulogy. They needed these words from a loved one or someone to add closure to this. I have defended my Catholic church over many controversies over the years but I think this is a disgrace. I can't forgive this. Could they not allow 10 minutes for a eulogy?

There was also ample parking, which made things convenient for everyone attending. From the cleanliness of the facility to the kindness and professionalism of the staff, everything was handled beautifully. They did an amazing job making sure our family was comfortable and well taken care of.
