He talks about helping, loving and just being a a good human. He says that is what God wants us to do. Ya know .... the man practices what he preaches. I have listened as several people told me how Don has held memorial services for non-church-going people. He acts like he has known them for years and makes all of the family and friends of the deceased person feel better. I really appreciate how he treats people - much in the way that Jesus would (not heavy on the rules just heavy on the love). Stop by any time and you will be welcomed in All Saints!

Neither one of us are Lutheran. As per a friends mention, we decided to check out this church and were pleasantly surprised. It's not really close to our house, but it's worth the drive. Pastor Don is awesome. He's real, down to earth, and non-judgmental. He cracks jokes and everyone seems to smile in attendance, which is a rare feat in church. He applies situations to every day life, and he makes sense. While I don't understand everything regarding Lutherans, I don't feel like I need to there. This church is the type that's just happy that you stopped by. We even asked him to be our pastor at our wedding, and he didn't think twice before responding with an enthusiastic yes! No million questions. Just a person genuinely happy that we were getting married and asked him to be part of it. Plus, on Thursdays they have service outdoors if it's nice--which is really nice at night. If you're looking for a laid-back church, this is definitely worth checking into. I'm not going to crack jokes in this review, it's just a good place that makes me feel better about life when I'm feeling like things just can't get any worse. An easy way to put my life in perspective again.

They opened a park to the public, so they say. I took some kids to the park, and the security guard glared at us, causing one 5 year old little girl to cry, this after being refused access to their bathroom. I saw the pastor a few days later, he told me that the bathroom was cleaned already for Sunday and they didn't appreciate my asking kids to use it because it would have messed up the bathroom. Guess the pastor isn't familiar with the story of Mary and Martha. He then told me to make arrangements with their session next time I want to take kids to the park which sign says is open for all, seemingly forgetting about Jesus saying "bring the children to me." Terrible church that seemingly doesn't follow the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. They should all be ashamed of themselves.
