The preaching is from the King James Version of the Bible. The congregants are kind and visitors are made to feel welcome and given the opportunity to learn about salvation and fully understand. The women's group is very active and there is fellowship in and outside of church. There are opportunities for service. The Sunday evening and Wednesday night services are held at the First Baptist Church of Hammond. Transportation is provided to anyone in need of a ride to church. There is a nursery for very small children, however the church is family integrated which I like. This church is not part of the new IFB movement (this is just FYI). Young people are encouraged to attend Bible college. Visit and I believe you will be blessed.

That agreement was mutually revised in 2014 to reflect the production's continued use of my music. Royalty payments stopped in 2018. Over the years I've tried every private avenue I could think of, including invoices, emails, certified letters, documentation, and legal counsel. Earlier this year I was told leadership was reviewing the matter, but after providing everything they requested, communication once again stopped. I'm posting this only after exhausting every private and professional effort to resolve it. I remain hopeful that Family Christian Center's leadership will choose to address this in a manner consistent with the values it teaches.

ok maybe im a bad girl when it comes to going to church......BUT....count me in at St. Mike's for…read morethier friday fish fry :-) a beautiful church with a great social center, and let me tell you these Serbian ladies in the kitchen know thier stuff....i went with my aunt an uncle a few weeks ago ( yes ma'am i will go to church more often )...and we all were impressed.... Unc got frog legs, a big portion and they were fried perfectly and very tender and almost sweet tasting.... Auntie got fried shrimp, a big old plate of em....crispy and done perfect, not a dry one in the bunch... im more of the pig in the family :-) so i got the AYCE Canadian whitefish....oh yumm......a light coating that had no hint of greasiness, a perfect crunch in every bite.... they also have broiled orange roughy if your not a fan of fried fish.... all dinners come with soup, coleslaw, cottage cheese, sliced beets ( yah its a southside thing) and choice of potato.... they both had the Serbian fried potatos and i went with fries...both were excellent....and fresh pogaca and kajmak were on the table too.... (Serbian bread and a cream cheese butter spread).... burgers, chicken strips and a chefs special offered as well for those not in the mood for fish..... service was very friendly ...i cant wait to go back :-) maybe even stop in on a Sunday :-)
